For comfort you are best to stay in a “ known” hotel chain or be prepared to stay in very basic accomodation with foyers, stairs , streets leading to it being dirty, falling apart and rubbish everywhere. unfortunately to see the “sights” even if you are in a nice hotel/area you have to go through these other areas. we have travelled considerably but was not prepared for the amount of dirt, rubbish and squalor everywhere…from Cairo to Giza life is just lived amongst and in rubbish….

My stay in Madinaty was excellent.

My stay in Madinaty was excellent. The flat was very clean, modern, and fully equipped with brand-new furniture and appliances. The location was great, quiet, and convenient, making it easy to relax and move around. The host was generous and welcoming, offering water and chocolates on arrival, and kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out. Everything was smooth and comfortable — I highly recommend staying here in Madinaty.

Terrible Experience - Avoid HOST PRIME APARTMENT IN REHAB! I recently booked an apartment through Booking.com with HOST PRIME APARTMENT IN REHAB for my family, including young children, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The host, Abdulaziz, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The air conditioning didn’t work, and neither did the washing machine, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable, especially with kids. To make matters worse, two hours before our scheduled check-out, Abdulaziz turned off the electricity, leaving us in a terrible situation. This company is a scam, and I would strongly advise anyone, especially families, to avoid booking with them. The lack of basic amenities and the host's unprofessional behavior made this the worst experience we've ever had. I expected much better from a property listed on Booking.com. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

i had been stay for 4 days and tenant offer anther apartment rather than the one i book thru booking , calming it will be more comfort with a family of 5 members and frankly speaking from day one , washing machine , Wifi was not working and cleaning hygiene was acceptable since we found Cigarettes pods on the floor and end up with black out for electricity due to tenant was not charge enough money via electrical card , i told him such apartment is not belong to him and he is not aware about anything inside apartment , however location is good .

It’s an eye opener, you can happily do most touristy things in two even three days easily. If you do visit cave church make sure you have a guide or taxi driver who is happy to assist and stay with you during the visit. If you visit the market Khan el khalili, for women please wear trousers and T-shirt or hoodie, if you go wearing shorts etc you’ll be eyeballed all the time by men mostly but some women, so showing less skin is better, you could even purchase a dress at the stall and wear over your clothing. The city is busy so been alert, use Indrive for getting about, don’t get ripped off.

Dont stay here is the best review and advice I can give anyone. The location is good but the apartment is terrible. There is too much to write about but I started looking for an alternative 10mins after I got there.

There are some amazing experiences in Cairo; the pyramids/sphinx, the museums, the markets, religious sites, but it’s not for the faint hearted. An extremely intense city; it’s loud, chaotic, overcrowded and difficult to get around. Have a list of things you want to see, get them done, and get out.
