Nice hotel, also for a bicycle traveller. The bike can be parked in a safe place during the night. The room and bathroom are specious and clean. Breakfast was very good. There is a (fancy) restaurant in the hotel, but other restaurants are within walking distance.

I stayed at Hotel Saxkjøbing for a night and was genuinely impressed. The building itself is beautiful, full of history and atmosphere, with lovely old details that make it feel very special. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s not a luxury hotel, but everything feels genuine. The restaurant is definitely worth visiting for dinner too. The food is simple but beautifully prepared and based on local ingredients I've been told. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant and authentic hotel experiences I’ve had in Denmark. If you enjoy historical buildings, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere, Hotel Saxkjøbing is absolutely worth a visit.
