Beautiful hotel, great rooms, lovely views, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly. It’s an ever expanding project, this was our second visit and the whole exterior project is developing with new glasshouses, vegetable plots and gardens out the back. Great to see such an all encompassing project.

Absolutely faultless! Such a smart, clean and modern hotel with a fantastic breakfast included! We were travelling as a family of 4 and had booked one family room however upon arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to 2 rooms with an interconnecting door at no extra charge!! Rooms were incredibly clean and bathroom was beautiful 😍 Parking on site for 75kr which gives you 24 hours or you can park (as we did) on the street over the road that gives unlimited free parking. 15 min walk into the centre of Aalborg. Lovely waterfront 2 mins away. Breakfast was super and served from 7:30 on a weekend. Would 100% return!

This was a wonderful stay. Eric, the manager, and the entire team are truly amazing people. From the very first moment, I was welcomed in a warm, almost family-like way, and this feeling of care stayed with me throughout my visit. I needed help organizing transportation, and everything was arranged quickly and effortlessly. I also had to eat outside of regular meal hours, and they always made sure I was taken care of, which is something I truly appreciated. The breakfasts felt homemade — delicious yogurt, excellent jam, and a real sense of comfort and attention to detail. The beds are very new and extremely comfortable, with perfectly clean, white bed linen. The room was warm, and the sound insulation was very good, allowing for a truly restful stay. A place you want to return to — not only because of the comfort, but above all because of the people. Highly recommended.

We are from the UK and this was a return stop off back from Norway, but next time it will be a destination in itself just for the food. The hotel itself is a very historic building, possibly 18th century or earlier and a further treat in itself

Aalborg is interesting but not a must-see city that gives a perspective on North Jutland's geography. It has a student feel. Plan your visit for Tuesday-Saturday, as many museums are closed Sunday and Monday.

The local village and surrounding countryside has a lot of character from being by the seaside .There are many beautiful nature area's worth seeing. There is a very tricky police speed trap camera near entrance to village ,would recommend visitors to be very careful.

Two adults and an 11 y old stayed one night, on the road to Italy. We came after reception was closed, and nightdoor was easy to open with a code given to us. It was gard finding our room. First floor had od numbers, second floor didnt have info, so we had to check the right corridors, to find even numbers. Many possibilities! Many corridors. We wasnt really prepared for selfservice with bed clothes, but it was easily done. The shower gave water all over the bath, because of wrong measure on the floor. water didnt really hit the drain. We had enough towels, to clean up! Little old&tired bathroom. We was selfcatered with eveningmeal&breakfast. In the corridor you will find a small kitchen, with freezer. We used it for our ice-elements. Comfortable beds, 2 single, and one bunk bed. Simple rooms. Left early next day, and the reception was open. Smileing service! Easy acsess from highway, outside Århus.

Aalborg is clean and efficient and a nice place to visit if, like me, you have to go on a business visit. Good transport links to the airport (just 10 minutes by train) and seems easy to get around on foot. Food is fine and everyone seems to speak perfect English! Take a sweater or cardigan for the evenings!

It's a small cute city.

It's a small cute city. Easy to walk around and very friendly. If I had an extra day I would have ventured out to see egholm and possibly the zoo. But I was happy strolling the river in the evening and walking around the town int he time I was here. Check out the colourful houses and coffee shops
