Nice quiet spacious room with good beds. We enjoyed the balcony in the evening. The provided baby bed was good. We appreciated the free bathrobes and entry to the swimming pool. A good and secure parking. Very friendly and service minded staff. Last but not least, the breakfast is a solid 10/10!

Quite and green area around, bicycle roads near the hotel. There is kids playground in a 5 min walk (hidden gem :) ) Breakfast is one of best that I've ate so far (variety of fish, meat, vegetables - everything is always available). Very tasty coffee for adults and hot chocolate for children. There was quite in the hotel (and room, specifically) regardless of the wedding in the hotel and another one in the nearest place. Clean room, very comfortable beds. Overall service is awesome, from the reservation (took +1 1 year baby to the room) till the checkout. Unguarded parking is available without reservation.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners of the hotel, both the husband and wife are extremely warm and helpful. My wife and me were vegetarian but they went out of their way to help us. One night the restaurant in the hotel was shut and there was no restaurant around the hotel so the owner ordered some Pizza online for us via his phone as we we did not understand German. Food is great in the restaurant and they have enough vegetarian choices.

Something For All Outdoor Lovers

The peaceful and rural Sauerland lies across the south-east part of Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia and spreads on both sides of the region’s 2 major rivers: the Ruhr and Lenne. With over 30,000 km of marked hiking trails, and plenty of ski and water sports facilities, the Sauerland is a dreamland for the outdoor sports lover.

This hotel met my expectations and I would recommend it to everyone. Parking - right in front of the hotel. The reception was very friendly, and they allowed me to check in early. The location of the hotel was very good, close to the center, all the main attractions in the city. The room was nice, great for one person. Cleanliness, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were very professional, quiet and friendly. The spa center was clean, large, a real place to relax. It works from 2 to 9 pm. The pool is open all day and is a great large swimming pool. At the end, I received a box of chocolates when I left. A very nice gesture.

I booked late and arrived late after a 14km hike! The kitchen was already closed, but they still made me a light meal! Ibwas only there for one night, but everything looked so good and the people were very helpful! The breakfast was very good, but as i've been to many hotels, the breakfast was standard for that kind of pricerange, so that's still excelent but not different. It might be because i chose the stirred eggs and bacon with herbs mixed in(so not very local). The outside was very nice and clean! Eventough they(landscapers) were working outside my window i only noticed when i opened the windows. So even for a short stay this was worth the max amount of stars!

I was only here for 2 days of work but still managed to walk =25 miles in the evenings. The river can be taken to get into the town for other facilities.

It is more touristic than I thought, a bit overcrowded for my taste. One reason to not take the cable car up the mountain. If you like crowds and lots of restaurants you're at the right place. We had a good meal in Willingen. We went to the hang bridge (Sky walk) nearby, we visited the Dimeltalsperre and we went shopping in Winterberg.

Winterberg exceeded expectations. One believes that you would need to go to Switzerland or Austria to have a great ski holiday, but the truth is a short 4 hour drive from the middle of the Netherlands you are in a place where as a beginner skier you have everything you might want! There might be more challenging slopes, but I did not attempt those this time around, I will surely be back again to see more..

Excellent spacious apartment well maintained and equipped for the rooms and kitchen. Two bed rooms. A locked shed for bicycles. Very quiet but well located between old town, train station and supermarket. Everything is in walking distance.

A charming pictoresque town with very friendly people. We had a delicious dinner in a brewery and by coincidence managed to go to a concert in a church. Also the thermal spa in a neighbouring town is certainly worthy of a visit.

Lippstadt is full of character and a really pleasant town to spend a few days . Good selection of restaurants and bars , and shopping if you need it. Lots of outdoor social locations to enjoy warm summer evenings with good food and fab beer .

We have been having our reunion at Bad Sass for quite a few years now, yet it never fails to make us feel welcome, and especially at the Hause Rasche Hotel, where the host Thomas and his dedicated staff make us feel so welcome and at home, also with the added benefit of our get together being during the Shutzenfest activities, which is enjoyed by all.

Willingen is a nice village located in stunning nature.

Willingen is a nice village located in stunning nature. But it nevertheless became a hotspot for stag and hen parties and the likes. If you're looking for a calm and quiet place you need to come in Novembre or February. But if you - like we did - are keen to combine outdoor sports with a vibrant nightlife you've come to the right spot.

Winterberg has the nostalgie of the past and combines that with the needs of the younger sporty generation, including families. Public transport is well organized and free for visitors who stay one or more nights.

Soest was a lovely town to stay in and explore.

Soest was a lovely town to stay in and explore. Enjoyed the walk around the tree-lined historic city wall, the pedestrian-only shopping streets, the churches, and the central plaza was a perfect place to stop for a beer.

We found Lippstadt to be a very walkable and friendly local...

We found Lippstadt to be a very walkable and friendly local town with significant variety of interesting historic stories. We especially like the self-guided tour signage throughout the old town area.
