Clean and modern hotel with extremely friendly stuff. There is a coffee machine and a stocked minibar in the room. Location is quite good - close to historical center of Munich and at the same time close to the train station so that you can easily travel to other cities as well if you wish. Due to its close location to the train station it may not always be a pleasant walk in the evening in surroundings, but still we didn't face any real problems with it. Will definitely choose this hotel for the next trip to Munich.

Hotel Uhland is a beautifully decorated period property in a fabulous leafy location, close to the train station. We stayed in a large room with a lovely view overlooking the street. The double bed and sofa bed were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast room is a very charming and comfortable airy space. Breakfast was the usual continental selection and the coffee was good. Lovely staff helped to contribute to the pleasant, relaxed ambience of the hotel. We'd be happy to stay here again.

The Newness the cleanliness and the interior design and many lobby Tv's with sitting rooms and gym and bar and restaurant then additional outside shops. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is well laid out. The staff were so helpful with many helps and directions on what to do and see, and on sites, bicycle hire is available. Though they are not electric, however, concrete riding tracks straddle the main road.

Upon checking in, we were provided with a Berchtesgaden card each, which provided us with free transport in the area and discounts at multiple attractions, we were also provided a map and booklet showcasing the attractions accessible with the card. Our room was perfect, plenty of space, and a balcony with seating area. The room was cleaned on each of the four days we stayed and the cleaning staff were very friendly when we bumped into them in the corridors. Breakfast was fantastic, with a full continental range on offer, some hot cooked items, and a hot drinks machine. As for location, it couldn't be any better situated unless it was on the lake itself, it's less than a minute walk to the ferry terminal, very close to lots of paths for any walkers, and 5 minutes walk from the bus station if you want to use your Berchtesgaden card to tour the local area. I would also highly recommend eating in the hotel restaurant in the evening at least once. The venison goulash had so much flavour, and is my favourite meal of our 2 week tour of Germany and Austria, and the boiled beef was great too!

Big hotel that never seems to be big, thanks to a brilliant layout. Excellent staff, the service level is really high. Good bed, shower, room. Great Spa and Pool area. The separate family spa is brilliant, it keeps the adult only spa quiet but is not lacking in its offering. Probably the best breakfast buffet and à la carte we have had. Dinner at the hotel was really good as well.

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to.

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to. We love GP for a weekend getaway. We always ride the train in and get around by foot (or bus) after we're there. Go in every season...there's always something wonderful to experience.

Beds uncomfortable, terrible pillows, rude front desk staff. Don't think you can have early check in. It cost us $30 euros for each room, and we were stay 2 nights. They will not refill coffee or water for 2nd night. Restaurant and bar don't open until 4 or later if they do. Nothing is close by. They charge you for airport shuttle.

A beautiful city within a rural setting, with excellent transport links to nearby Lake Chiemsee, the Alps and cities like Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. Nice shops and restaurants with a variety of national and international cuisine. The locals were very friendly and everything was spotless.

The first thing I noticed upon arriving in Ingolstadt is the cleanliness of the area from the moment I stepped off the train. I had travelled from Cologne through Berlin, Dresden and Nurnberg, stopping a view nights in each place, and Ingolstadt was the best ‘first impression’ of a city I experienced. This continued throughout the 3 days I spent there. The train station is located in a leafy area next to a beautiful park and surrounded by 3 churches. The city has numerous walkways and cycle routes alongside the river and through beautiful gardens. The city is extremely peaceful and had beautiful architecture and many historic buildings and sights. You will find good coffee shops and some of the best traditional food dishes in Germany. I LOVED this place and can’t wait to return.

Unfortunately we stayed new years night. Nothing around the hotel was open and the staff said we could buy Cold Pizza. The shuttle service , which was one of the attractions was discontinued 1/1/26 the day we would have used it. While received an email telling me all the services I could upgrade the discontinuation of the shuttle service was not mentioned. D grade property. Z grade location. Look elsewhere

Due to non availability on airport shuttle it was disaster and disappointment. How can you declare holiday in express Munich airport and no airport shuttle. Totally bullshit. Due to this our minimum 1000.00 euro extra expensive as every day we took taxi to go airport terminal to take exhibition bus

I absolutely loved this villa. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The view was stunning, the fire camp made the atmosphere extra special and the breakfast was deliciou. Everything about the stay was perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Beautiful old town, interesting windy streets, beautiful...

Beautiful old town, interesting windy streets, beautiful rose gardens and in autumn spectacular fall colours. Numerous beautiful walks. Amazing Cathedral and I recommend the Diocesan Museum and City Museum.

The views and the mountains are the reason to come here,...

The views and the mountains are the reason to come here, along with hiking trails, biking ones as well. Only problem was the train schedule was changed after booking, so it took longer to get there, with less time to spend in the area. The town is not really set up for tourists, car required for efficient getting around in town.
