It was near the railway station that went to the airport - just 1 stop and a quick easy walk even with suitcases. It was a plain but functional room, it was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable – what more do you need? The breakfast that was included was top quality.

Room was very good and well furnished with double aspect view over lake and mountain and large balcony. Lift was useful for shifting the luggage. Staff were excellent. Restaurant was also excellent with a varied good quality menu. We will certainly return!

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Everything is perfect here. It is indeed the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in Germany. It is an interesting blend of tradition and modern progress.

It is an interesting blend of tradition and modern progress. The Ibis hotel was pretty central to all of the activities I wanted to do. There are great museums there. I focused on the Staatsgalerie because of its amazing modern art collection. The trains are very accessible (but I was a chicken and used taxis!). I attended a concert at the Hans Martin Schlayer Halle. The facility is well-kept , accessible and fairly easy to navigate. The staff and security were helpful and effective. Of course, being Christmas time, I went to the Weinacht Market a couple of times. The stalls were clean with friendly vendors who accommodated my language needs. Two things to watch out for are having too many purchasing options and the Gluhwein. That stuff sneaks up on you!

The city offers a wonderful experience. Its vibrant colors and the genuinely friendly people create a welcoming atmosphere. Seeing the city lights at night is truly spectacular, and with so many exceptional restaurant options, we know we’ll be coming back soon.

The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is...

The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.

Definitely recommend to take the tram for sightseeing. The tram tickets are easily obtainable at the vendor machines at almost every Haltestelle for everyone’s convenience. Hop on and hop off as you please, there is plenty to see. To me, the central city cobblestone streets with the tram passing through reminded me of Bulgarian capital city of Sofia very much. Worth a visit!

The reception at Hotel Sonata was excellent and they were...

The reception at Hotel Sonata was excellent and they were most welcome and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was very good with a selection of food to suit everyone. The hotel is situated close to the town center. The route by bus is straight forward and the bus stops right outside the Sonata Hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel .

Charming small town close to Stuttgart and a plus for wine lovers! We visited the Kessler wine cellar and Einhorn restaurant (wine cellar) which were excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay while attending the Cannstatter Volksfest or Spring festival at the Wassen then this town has excellent advantages as well. The train station is one exit removed from the Wassen station next to the festival grounds.

Plenty of Oriental food outlets also hairdressers and men's barbers....only one Italian restaurant to be found. Lots of Chinese restaurants couldn't find traditional German restaurants. Which was a shame.

Not clean. Too expensive for what offers. Receptionists are kind Room not in line with offer. I stayed in Dorint Fontana and thought this would be new and better experience but it was so dirty and expensive.

The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

Well before I just heard about Pforzheim being a jewellery...

Well before I just heard about Pforzheim being a jewellery and gold town. I did not know about its almost complete destruction in WW2 and how poorly it was rebuilt and how dreadful it still looks. I thought I have seen the worst German towns already... A fun fact, it was rebuilt to be very accessible for cars yet the modern politicians have decided to make it a 30 km/H zone. So you have big transit streets and have to drive slower than a bike. Although everything there looks also dreadfully poor (although they are not really poor unlike other places in other parts of Germany) we even saw some high society sipping some drinks near the Enz river. It is a weird place. It was worth coming here to appreciate more other places.
