I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Nobilis in Mladá Boleslav. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and made check-in a delightful experience, even offering a glass of prosecco as a welcome treat. The hotel's stylish concept and great atmosphere make it stand out. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a perfect place to relax. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. A big plus is the late check-out option, which adds to the comfort and flexibility of the stay. Another highlight is the small but well-designed spa area, which can be reserved for private use—an excellent touch for unwinding after a long day. One would expect a hotel of this caliber in London or Vienna, but finding such a high-end, beautifully designed place in a small village near Mladá Boleslav is truly surprising and impressive. Overall, Hotel Nobilis delivers on all fronts: exceptional service, beautiful design, comfort, and great amenities. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mladá Boleslav!

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel U Věžícké Brány. The room was cozy and comfortable, the location is excellent - right in the center, close to everything. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything went smoothly, no problems at all

We had to travel a lot, so we didn't use the breakfast service, but the lunch dishes are delicious. We are very grateful to the staff for the opportunity to have a stress-free departure day and strict rules to move out at 10:00 or 11:00. We just left the key in the post box on our way out at 11:30 as it was much more convenient for us on our route to another city and the staff didn't see a problem with it. During the trip, such extra minutes and the attitude of the staff encourage you to return to this hotel.

I had a very nice stay, the location is excellent with private parking off the street, I was offered vegan options for breakfast and in general everyone was really nice and welcoming. I used Karel IV as a base for visiting my friend and her family and I was very cozy here. Turnov and surrounds are truly beautiful, so it makes sense for me to come back and enjoy trips with my friend and her family. I will happily stay in Karel IV again.

The hotel is simply perfect, I really enjoyed staying there. Extremely good location, close to Prachovské skály. The room is very cozy, with comfortable beds. The bathroom is small, but very well organised. The restaurant is good, with several dishes. The breakfast is also fine. The terrasse and the garden are lovely. I have not tried the wellness, but it must be useful after a long day hiking trip. I am sure I will come back! :)

Everything! Alona and her husband are amazing people, they run a stunning place. In a location close to attractions (Český ráj, Dětnica Castle and more... but a magical quiet place. With natural stargazing, the silence of nature. The cabin was brilliant, the security is well equipped. The children enjoy running around in the space. Definitely recommended.

Very beautiful and quiet hotel almost in the city center. Plenty of parking spaces nearby. The lady at the reception and restaurant staff were great, smiling and kind. Very good breakfast. The room is nice, clean, retro designed! Bed with a comfortable mattress. I highly recommend this hotel!

An amazing small town with the beautiful city centre from...

An amazing small town with the beautiful city centre from 17th century with a palace, tower you can climb, local cartoon hero Rumcajs, 2 km Linden alley to take you a bit out of town to Zebin hill you can climb. Also so many beautiful sites so close around the town: Prachovske skaly - 5 km (Prachov rock nature park), Humprecht castle - 15 km, Trosky castle - 15 km, Kost castle (20 km) and many others.

We came on a walking holiday.

We came on a walking holiday. The train was very useful for getting to places. we loved visiting the museum and just wished a bit more was in English but that is our fault for not speaking Czech! We loved the park, walking along the river. The easy access to Mala Skala. Everyone was friendly and helpful

Nice place for a little trip in the forest. Lots of rock formations around, great view spots, pretty peaceful (tourists not yet destroyed the place), and clean. Hotels are stupidly overpriced (hello Saxon/Czech-Switzerland!) but you can easily have a nice drink and dinner in places and accommodation in towns around - there are lots of parking lots around and public transportation for comfy commuting around. Visit towns around too - these are a little beautes with their own legends/stories (like Rumcajs) and castles (Hruby Rohozec or Trosky for example) waiting for an appreciation and you don't have to plow throught tourists and eat trdelnik (no - that is not a Czech dish!) like in Prague for a bonus.

I want to express my admiration for the owner of the hotel, Мr. Vratik. The rooms are large, bright and clean. Cleaning every day. Bicycle plumbing. Breakfast is top notch, like in the best restaurants. Lunch is also given 3-4 times a week, and lunch can be arranged on other days. The attitude towards guests is exceptionally good. Interesting nature, pine forest and lake, not far from the hotel. There are several walking and cycling routes. We finished each route with a swim in the lake.

It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but...

It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but plenty in a short car distance. We were visiting via ferrata 'Vodni brana' that is located nearby, Prachovské skály, socialist vehicle museum in Železný Brod, Chateau Hruby Rohozec in Turnov, and some other things. In Semily we eat in Da Giorgio restaurant and we can reccomend this place.

Beautiful area of Chezhia.

Beautiful area of Chezhia. So many different spots to go see the rock formations/columns. We visited Prachovske Skaly which was INCREDIBLE. Different hikes you can do depending on the difficulty and length. Vranov Castle also worth visiting.

Small town with a few interesting places to see.

Small town with a few interesting places to see. But nothing much in comparison with other bigger cities. The town is located near Prachov rocks (about 40 minutes away), which is the reason why I chose to stay there. Overall, the town is worth a day of visit. More time could be spent in Prachov rocks and the castles/palaces nearby.
