Great free parking, good wifi (but not in all rooms, in room #3 the signal was pretty weak but after mooving to #4 all was perfect). I need to admit the exrtemely good breakfast. It was really super home-made breakfast with lots of cheese, yogurt and several home-made cakes. I am really surprised for such a price.
Also we arrived pretty late (almost at 22) and in low season I was sure we cannot find anybody at the desk. But the lady (I believe she is one of the owners) was really nice to wait for us

The room had everything we needed + a balcony with a great view on the mountains and the church. The supermarket was less than a 1 minute walk away and breakfast was very tasty! The host Andreas was very kind and welcoming, and recommended the best spots to visit in the area.

This wonderfully atmospheric historic hotel sits tucked away in a picturesque forest, and stepping inside feels like traveling back to the mid-20th century. There’s even an original menu from 1944 framed on the wall—such a charming touch. The lobby is incredibly cozy, complete with a fireplace and excellent cocktails, and the veranda bar is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant that perfectly complements the hotel’s character.
Our room was simple but very comfortable, featuring two balconies. The bathroom looked like it came straight out of a high-end European design catalog—everything modern, sleek, and top-quality. The staff were warm, attentive, and even helped us out with toothbrushes when we needed them. I would gladly stay here again!

Unfortunately we only stayed one night, wish we had stayed more.
This hotel is not a one building hotel and there are a lot of stairs between buildings, but the view from the top building makes up for the inconvenience. There is a small electric car for carrying luggage. We had a very nice welcome, a gift at the reception and fruit in the room.
The room is nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable.
There are thick blackout curtains for a peaceful night's sleep. Purified, drinkable water from the tap, so everything is perfect :)
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, we had very good and delicious food.
The breakfast was wonderful with typical local cheeses and sweets.
Beautiful village, beautiful buildings and an excellent hotel
I heartily recommend.

Beautifully decorated apartment (201) with clean and modern facilities yet still having lots of lovely rural decorative ornamental pieces. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning in all rooms was a real bonus. Stunning shared pool area (for the 3 apartment) and we had it to ourselves for all of our stay. Views from the terrace and pool area have to be seen to be appreciated.

The view was amazing and the room stunning. The host was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed even when we experienced trouble with the car rental company. On top, the host also offered a very delicious traditional home made meal.

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car.
Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly.
You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors.
The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.
Well organized beyond to what meets the eye.
Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area.
There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)

Omodos is a beautiful village with lots of nice wineries near by. It can get busy with coach parties but that is to be expected. Most restaurants and cafes close early evening so not a great deal to do in the evening. Wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking round all the narrow streets but it is so worth it.
We have visited several times and enjoy it each time.

Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Agros is very, very clean and the water is super tasty)

Absolutely loved being here. Great location. The host got us fruits from here garden orchard. She brought us lovely eggs from her own chickens. She just was so lovely and explained the area to us and made us so at home. We loved it so much we stayed more than planned.
Easy to get to the Olympus mountain and the Todooros mountains.
Great little place. Parking is super just in the yard. Private too very quiet.
The best WiFi reception. The best host and kindest.

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.

Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do. Do visit the taiakkas winery near pelendri for a nice immersive experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Symposio Taverna in pelendri.
