Our stay at this hotel was excellent, the staff was the perfect mix of relax, friendly and professional. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was of the highest standard. The interior was modern and very tasteful, which made it a treat to just chill at the pool or enjoy the roof top bar. Our room was a good size, with a nice balcony. The gym was never too busy and with brand new equipment. Honestly could not recommend this hotel enough! A must stay, and we cannot wait to go back!

Another fabulous stay AT Herbal, the only real 5 star in the are. Once again we I am beyond impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the hotel exuded luxury and sophistication. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised to have been given a free room upgrade. The views from my room were absolutely stunning - a beautiful scene of the Mediterranean Sea that was truly unforgettable. This added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay, and I found myself spending more time in my room than anticipated to fully take in the mesmerizing scenery. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast selection. The variety of dishes on offer was simply awesome, from sumptuous pastries to savory, protein-rich options - there was something for everyone. I particularly appreciated the freshness and quality of the ingredients used, which only elevated the overall experience. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, which made me feel right at home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Don’t be put off by the fact that the hotel is listed as a 2-star—it is definitely much more than that. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with large, comfortable beds that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The view from the room was breathtaking. Breakfast was a feast, offering an incredible variety of choices from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty hot dishes. Overall, the combination of friendly service, great comfort, and outstanding food made this experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation in Troodes mountains.

We got an upgrade to a king Suite which was absolutely amazing!! The views from the hotel and our room to the sea is really stunning. We couldn’t be more comfortable in that Suite, the service from the whole staff was excellent, very kind and polite, and considering the big amount of people now in August, they manage to very well everything to don’t feel uncomfortable because of that. Food was delicious, never miss anything, with different options for restaurants and we were surprise that even being at full capacity it was very quiet.

the whole stay was great. all started from the beginning. i have reserved two rooms, one standart-another side sea view. at the reception we were informed what our rooms were changed to sea view without any extra pay. the location is great, food very tasty, rooms and all hotel very clean. personal fantastic, all of them smiling all the time and want to help in all situations. special thanks for Nicos and Tryfonas who made our holiday fantastic. One of the best hotel where i have ever stayed.

Sorry but the food in restaurants wasn't all it makes out to be. The oil needed to be changed it was old and you could smell it when the food came to you and that wasn't nice like with the breakfast or chips and put you off your food so I ended up eating KFC. M boutique hotel and Alexander the great hotel was lovely too.

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer. Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though. I liked beaches close to the Turkish border

Friendly people, lots of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of walking around which was great. Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed). There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus. Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

We travelled in November which is out of season and therefore it was very quiet with the majority of the bars and restaurants on the main strip being closed. We were closer to Kapparis where ample bars and restaurants remained open. We had no complaints.

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car. Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly. You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages. Well organized beyond to what meets the eye. Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area. There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

There are many small streets to stroll around.

There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. We also took a short drive to Lefkara dam at sunset- if you want o hear th sound of silence, you can find it there.

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. We were sorry to miss Joseph the manager when we left., he was most friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you Joseph!
