Very nicely locate in the Quetzal mountains. Loved the small set up of this place. Cabines are simple but comfortable and blend in with the surrounding. There are two lovely trails for hiking, a pond with fishes and hummingbird are buzzing around the area. The staff was very friendly and appriciated that everything that we consumed could be add to our master bill and paid on departure.

Amazing place. Abundance of birds in the beautiful garden. Hummingbirds everywhere. Great facilities, beautiful location, good food in the restaurant. cozy room, big bed and big bathtub. Absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

Our stay was exceptional. The cottage was beautiful with new equipment, set in an excellent mountain location. What stood out were the wonderful owners who made us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of hummingbirds. Too bad we were only here for one day; I could easily imagine staying a few more days. I warmly recommend it.

Beautiful location, plenty of space to sleep, relax, have meals plus great views. Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.

Breakfast was sufficient and tasty; however, they should ask how you like your eggs and not just automatically bring them scrambled---both my husband and I prefer them fried. The coffee was good and you can have refills. Service is efficient but it would be helpful if breakfast would start at 7:30 instead of 8 ( for those who have business meetings or wish to start hiking earlier.)

It just felt so welcoming, loved the grass area around it. Lots of blankets. Great views from the windows. Very friendly people. Would love to go back.
