This place is so magical! Carlos was amazing, he always treated me like VIP. Carlos was very helpful with booking my tours, and just a very happy, friendly person. The views are incredible. I am so happy I stayed a little away from town. The views were worth it. To get to down to town, I followed a quick, easy to follow trail. Maybe about 6 minutes. The breakfast was so delicious and fresh. Thank you everyone at Kawa for the best experience!

The hostel itself is cozy and inviting, with clean and comfortable accommodations that cater to a variety of travelers. The common areas are perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Cocora Valley, where you can enjoy breathtaking hikes and take in the awe-inspiring scenery. The view from the hostel is amazing and the dogs are just adorable! I accidentally or unintentionally booked a room with street view, which turned out to be a bit noisy, which is why we asked for another room. This was a big win and was no problem at all! We really enjoyed our stay in the quiet zone of the hostel. It was just perfect!

All the facilities of the hotel were great, unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the pool because the weather was not that good, but the gym was very nice with a great view. The room is spacious and the bed and bedsheets are top quality, amazing pillows too. Breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of local food (arepas and fruits) and regular hotel breakfast (like bread and eggs). I also had the opportunity to try the room service and the experience was also great. I highly recommend this accommodation!

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The value for money is exceptional – you get so much for a very fair price. The facilities are top-notch and everything is finished to a very high standard. Our room was perfect – honestly, not a single thing to complain about. One of the best hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Colombia. On top of all that, the food was excellent – delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. The gym was also super cool and had this fun, rustic "Stone Age" vibe that made it unique and memorable. The spa and pool area were simply breathtaking, with stunning views all around. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be coming back here next time we visit Colombia! Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Salento area! Thank you for everything!

Very nice friendly city! Like Every city has the good and the bad areas. My favorite sports were Pinares de Sant Martin, los álamos, Cerritos Getting around Pereira is easy Going out of he city to termales Santarrosa de cabal , to Salento el Parker del cafe ( coffee park ) this places are very close to Pereira and go for long walk , and enjoy The nice green view of the mountains !!

Awesome city. Amazing and friendly people. Lots of places to visit and have fun. Many activities, attractions to find out and enjoy. Food is always fresh, clean and great tasting. Safety is a priority. We can walk at any time with no problems and or fear. Public transportation and platform are available and it is cheap. Visit Manizales and experience a great adventure.

Most importantly clean, and felt safe with my family. The hotel was beautiful and affordable. The staff was great, and helpful. The only cons were the air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, which is common, and the menu would have gotten old if our stay was longer, but still delicious. The bar and bar staff were great as well. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re planning a trip to this area.

The town center is not touristic at all and some streets feel sketchy. Only recommended to do a day trip to the thermal baths. There are also nice view points around town. Not recommended for more than 1 or maximum 2 nights.

Filandia is a very nice town, with attractive architecture, good restaurants, and good people. Among the good restaurants, we liked "Casa /bohio Taino" and "Elena Adentro" an amazing place to eat and have good drinks.

We went for the lights on December 7th, 2025, and it was a great experience! The town came alive for the event and was absolutely packed. I would recommend that if you go for this particular event, "Las Lucecitas", I highly recommend you park your car outside the town on the road leading out towards your hotel. We spent over an hour trying to get out of the little town in a car. A motorcycle is a viable alternative if you can.

The town is not ready to take any type of tourists. No decent restaurants, no heath facility, many places don’t take US dollars neither credit cards. No bank facilities during the weekends. No tourist attractions, dirt on the street many unpaved roads. Lack of sidewalks, no rental car services.

Victor meet us upon arrival with a beautiful smile and made us feel very welcome. The home is absolutely beautiful, private, well maintained. The pool was clean, as well as all the outside amenities. We really enjoyed a night time swim and even placed some water basketball. Victor's aunt lives on property and was a very pleasant lady and treated us very well. You can tell that Victor wants only the best for his guests. Take note that La Dorada is has a very hot climate and only the master bedroom is air conditioned. But has excellent fans through out the entire house. Which was fine for us being from Florida USA. We saw a lot of the town and believe that staying here is the best of all options. We know you will agree should you decide to make this your home while in this city.
