The hotel is an oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. very well located. the rooms are very clean with nice amenities and extremely comfortable! Everything at the hotel is nicely decorated- the rooms as well the common area. breakfast and dinner as well the drinks are also very good! There is nothing we could have asked more. My husband and I are heavy travellers and we are very picky when it comes to accommodation and especially food. Nevertheless Hotel Desertica managed to tick all the boxes for pretentious guests:). But the staff is what this accommodation is all about. once we got to Calama and took the rented car we headed to Jumbo supermarket to buy some things. once we exit the supermarket our car was broken in and all our stuff stolen- electronics, clothes, shoes, literally everything!! I called the hotel to tell them and to ask for their help and they immediately asked to talk to the police and facilitate our communication with them. once we arrived to the hotel every member of the staff acted so kind and empathetic. They always went above and beyond to help us and feel better despite what happened. And all that effort they put in really worked. they made a huge difference in our mood for this holiday. We could not be more grateful and we do not know how we could ever return the favour. Cristobal, Silvia , Carolina, Estrella, Freddy thank you for everything! Thank you for being part of our journey!

Amazing place! Everything was above and beyond our expectations! There was complimentary snacks and drinks available in the common kitchen area for guests, rooms were excellent, comfy and brand new (incl. usb-c outlets), with toiletries, incl. hand moisturizer. There was breakfast each morning. The place offers free bikes which I used for a long 20km dirt road trip and it handled perfectly. The owner helped us every day with planning out what to visit. I mean there isn't anything we could have asked more for!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we slept well during our stay. The hotel is very well organised - they make sure everyone gets breakfast, either in the hotel or as a mini snack which they pack up for you if you're off on an early-morning tour. The location is also great, less than 10 minutes to walk to the centre. On our departure day, we were welcome to stay by the pool even after our check-out time. All in all, we had a great experience here and would warmly recommend it.

The best part was the staff. So friendly and making you feel welcome and helping at all times. Andrea and Graciela, you made our trip to Atacama area! Due to excursions being very early, we didn't have breakfast but they have some things in reception for you if you want to do. Great location, walking distance to main street. Safe parking. Pool and resting area, as at home. Top restaurant in town (though not part of hotel, they are renting premises), one of the best dinners we had during our 3-weeks trip to Chile. Last but not least, cold beer available in fridge at reception.

Wonderfully interesting property. Rooms were comfortable during the cold of the night and the heat of the day. Ingenious. We had a long nap after a night of star gazing and despite being right outside the active breakfast area, with our small fan going, we slept right through breakfast. Staff was wonderful, and very helpful. Close to town to walk. Pool was cold but refreshing. Rustic, but the beds were very comfortable and rooms cocoon you to sleep. Okay, maybe 50k+ steps a day also helped.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The property is incredibly beautiful and so much effort has been put into the decor and layout. It feels very relaxing and tranquil. My room was also stunning and beautifully decorated. The internet works really well no matter where you are. Breakfast is very good and there is access to filtered water provided by the hotel. It is located about six minutes from the Main Street in San Pedro which is good because it is very quiet. The llamas by the pool are adorable.

Hotel Cumbres is a wonderfull hotel, the room has a spetacular view to the desert and is very comfortable with a big and comfy bed. Breakfast is good with a lot of options and receptionists are always available to solve your problems. They have transfer every single day from 1pm to 10pm to "downtown" or you can grab a bike (both included). In the begning of the night you can fell a bad smell because of recycle of water but inside your room you don't smell it.

Nice rooms but not much space to move around. Clean bathroom with good shower. We asked to extend our stay but had to move rooms as it was booked. The staff were really friendly and transferred our bags for us while we were out on a day trip. About a twenty minute walk from the town but there’s a small shop close by. Good kitchen facilities and outdoor space

The facility is a top class property. Starting from pre-checkin communication to checkout and dropoff at the airport, it was excellent. The staff is exceptional and very helpful. The property has thought about every small detail that the guests will need and didn't charge for them (nickling and diming was absent).

The hotel is wonderful and we stayed in the suite, which meant that we had the special perk of having private tours in a car at our discretion. Our guide Felipe was so knowledgeable, funny and attentive. The fact that the suites are all inclusive of transfers, trips, food and drinks is very relaxing.

Everything meets expectation! We enjoyed the beautiful view of snow mountain, sunset and starry sky. And at night things become so quite with warm light around.
