We hired a scooter from a local rental company (Rino’s is best) which allowed us easy access to this stunning property, located in one of the most amazing parts of the island! The house is modern, clean, quiet, and has stunning views. We watched whales from the deck, ate pawpaw fresh from the trees. Our hosts (Simon and Ura) picked us up from the airport and saw us off at the end. Their hospitality during our stay was amazing. They remained in contact to make sure we were happy and assisted us with local recommendations and bookings as well. Absolutely recommend.

Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. Loved the view, location and staff

Cheran and her mum, were super hosts and managers of the Tai Roto Bay Resort. We were greeted at the airport with big smiles and beautiful personalities. Arriving at our beachfront villa took our breath away at the sight of the lagoon right out front. Welcome to Paradise. Villas was gorgeous, clean and bed super comfy with a yummy breakfast delivered daily and very private. Great local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

We absolutely loved our stay at Matriki! Although we spent four nights there, it felt far too short. Matthias is an exceptional host, full of fascinating knowledge about Aitutaki and its history, making every conversation insightful. We also joined his boat tour around the lagoon, which was truly unforgettable. Unlike other tour companies, Matthias takes his time, ensuring you can fully relax and enjoy the experience without ever feeling rushed.
