FranceThe staff is very welcome weh I arrive. I had an early train to catch next morning and can't wait until breakfast time. The lady was so kind to prepared a bag of breakfast for me (bread with meat, juice, apple and snack). The room is comfortable and cozy. Just two little things, pillow is a little too soft and floor is just a little sandy, but everything else is great! Location is perfect as well. Very close to the train station and bus station.

We had a fantastic stay at Albergo Lardi. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to offer advice or a smile. The food was excellent, local dishes all freshly cooked. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the scrambled eggs cooked to order which were absolutely fantastic.
Our room was modern and spotless, although the hotel still kept all its Alpine charm. It felt authentic and full of character, exactly the kind of place you hope to find in the mountains. The location was perfect too, just a very easy two minute walk from the Bernina Line train station.
A wonderful stay and one we would happily repeat.

Beautiful place with a lovely staff. Our train stopped in the city next to Campascio, so the host picked us up as it was too long to walk. The breakfast was really good, and we got to taste both wine and different types of jam.

It’s a lovely old original property in a quaint old fashioned typically Swiss / Italian square. The room was just the right size with a lovely warm bathroom floor. Breakfast was continental and comprehensive.

Poschiavo is tranquil and serene place.
Poschiavo is tranquil and serene place. Small town but big enough to walk if you want a calm quiet moment. I found this place is a bit cheaper to eat in the restaurant than in places like zermatt. Quality of food is better and delectable. It’s walkable town. I will come back next time I go again in Switzerland.

The restaurant offers a varied (but not too big) list of menus, some with typical ingredients of the region, such as Posciavo's red polenta (really good). The breakfast is simple but with all the components you need to start your great day.

The borge (town centre) is very beautiful (and quiet, as it is almost car-free). Many interesting sights, small workshops, museums, cultural and architectural things to see and explore. Friendly people.
Once you have seen it all, start exploring the whole of the valley that offers everything from the Bernina Hospizio down to Tirano in Valtalina vallley. There is something for everybody for every season, be it mountain-biking or discussing local literature experiences and tasting the regional bio-food surprises.....

We were taking a train trip through Switzerland and this was perfect for an overnight stop. Really close to the train stop, a very good restaurant, very friendly staff and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely bedroom with spacious lounge area. The breakfast was also good.

Lots of interesting architecture, pretty villas and palazzos. Museums not open in the winter which is a shame. Great to use as stop-over on the Bernina train line. Lovely surroundings and not overly touristy. Some very nice looking restaurants although not a lot was open in February.
