Perfect location, just far enough away from the busy life in Saas Fee to experience the tranquility of the woods. Beautiful views of the Weissmies and the valley below. Excellent kitchen and an impressive wine cellar. Nevertheless, it was the friendliness and personal attention from everyone in the hotell staff that made the biggest impression. Top notch!

The facility was amazing, well kept and clean at a great location Service was excellent from the moment of booking till departure: - every member of the staff was super lovely and helpful, they all speak several languages perfectly - we felt super pampered - loved the transportation service from the parking to the hotel and to the slopes, including the personal locker - food was excellent, mini bar was free for non-alcoholic beverages and beer, Nespresso machine in the room - the fitness was also well equipped, spacious and tranquil - wellness facilities were also super premium, relaxing and comfortable - towel replacement, detox water, fruits and nuts offered all day

The hotel is modern, with great facilities, including a very well equipped gym and a nice SPA. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated (we stayed in 2.501 suite with mountain view). The mattress was of top quality. There are three restaurants in the hotel, we went to two of them (the Caesar Ritz and Del Ponte) and always enjoyed the meals, which were both tasty and creative. Notwithstanding, what we enjoyed the most was the service throughout. It was just exceptional. Ladies at the reception, waiters in the restaurants, hotel car drivers and room cleaning ladies, all made our stay memorable, and we are immensely thankful to them for such a great job. It is not so common. We would full heartedly recommend this hotel and hope to visit it again soon.

Every detail felt thoughtfully curated — from the comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms to the delicious breakfasts that fueled our days of exploration. The spa area was a true delight, offering the perfect way to relax and soak in the serenity of the mountains. Spending my birthday here made it even more special — I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate. The views from the hotel were simply unforgettable: endless mountains, glistening glaciers, and the charming village below. We even spotted the adorable local marmots hopping around, which added an extra touch of magic to our mornings. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the atmosphere — peaceful, welcoming, and utterly enchanting. Each day felt like a dream, a perfect escape from the ordinary. Leaving was incredibly difficult; I found myself checking out with tears in my eyes, heartbroken to say goodbye to such a special place. If you are looking for a serene alpine getaway, where every moment is filled with beauty and joy, Hotel Marmotte in Saas-Fee is an absolute treasure. Great ski holiday. Nice accommodation with fantastic half board option with traditional Swiss menus. Very well run hotel with very friendly staff. Also got to enjoy some Fastnacht events while we were there.
