The most important and necessary to mention is the hospitality of the hotel owners. Moreover, the patience of 'the lord of the house' with answering all the questions of more eager and interested guests - about the location, the local cuisine, the recommended places to dine (locally) - is worth a great appreciation. Without showing any hurry or need to leave to do something else, he patiently answers all of that. Well, and that is something that goes beyond all the luxury of high-end hotels. Thank you. - the room was clean and offered everything needed - the parking was comfortable - the breakfast must meet expectations of everybody

Very friendly cheerful welcome could not have been bettered. We are 3 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and really enjoyed or stay at the modern Hotel Alpina after some tough hilly but stunningly beautiful riding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. No problem storing our 3 bikes in the secure reception area. We all 3 shared one big room which was no problem. Very comfortable. Great restaurant which is good because the Alpina is a little bit out of town. Good breakfast. All good. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

Amazing and quiet location.

Amazing and quiet location. We visited Davos during our stay as well and found that too busy - whereas Klosters was right up our alley. Quaint, with a few boutiques and very nice restaurants. Lots to do locally and plenty of transport methods to get anywhere you like - including cable cars to several peaks. Would recommend a stay to everyone.

Klosters Serneus is a very nice village with a direct...

Klosters Serneus is a very nice village with a direct connection to the ski area of Klosters Serneus. The slopes are well prepared, the ski lifts are modern and fast, and the slopes are wide. It is not the place for Austrian style apres ski. This resort is more US style, up market and relaxed.

Klosters is perfect for hikers, skiers and mountain bike riders. An easy 2-and-a-half-hour train trip from Zurich. Everything you need is within walking distance. Try Gastehaus Kessler for a great meal.

We did enjoy staying in Klosters, for us it was so much...

We did enjoy staying in Klosters, for us it was so much nicer than Davos. It was quiet at night time and had a good range of shops and cafes. An excellent Co-op sold a huge variety of foods. We only ate out once - at the Sonne Restaurant, where we had a lovely meal. Reasonably priced too. We made use of the swimming pool - had a laned area reserved for swimmers. I also liked the Nutli Huschi local museum. well worth a visit.
