I loved everything about this hotel! The modern and aesthetically pleasing design, clean rooms, hotel room amenities (robe, slippers, coffee machine, teas/coffee etc), hotel room views, excellent breakfast with a range of choice, wonderful spa, convenient location with the train station only a very short walk away and friendly and accommodating staff (a special shout out Alexandra and Fata who were on duty at breakfast time - they were so hospitable and kind to me).

Completely renovated in 2017, the modern Hotel Bellinzona Sud is located in Monte Carasso, right off the A2 highway.

We felt so welcome. The location was perfect for the train station and bus to Tenero. Breakfast was good. Good restaurants nearby. We will be back.

It's a very quiet environment. And yet, you can walk to the supermarket and bus stop in 3 minutes, and from there you can take a bus that runs every 15 to 30 minutes to Bellinzona, Giubiasco, and Locarno. The interior is calm and comfortable, and the facilities and consumables are well-equipped and easy to use. The owners are a very kind couple, and they live upstairs so you can ask them anytime.
