This is like a dream place. An experience you would hardly forget! The location is dreamy, my room was facing the hills with cowbells ringing all day. Breakfast are exquisite, whatever you like will be served within a minute. Service everywhere in the resort is amazing, stuff is the friendliest and the most entertaining for the ones who travel alone too. You can enjoy several different restaurants with great cuisine and views. Spa in the Waldhotel is perfect, clean and quiet, not many visitors during a low season (i was basically alone there all the time). You can also enjoy some attractions around or visit Luzern by boat fastly.

Located in Stans’ village square, Hotel Engel provides modern rooms with contemporary furniture and a minimalistic design. The café bar offers a terrace overlooking the square.

It was central and yet quite. The rooms had a modern feel and were quite spacious. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The food was delicious.

The staff were all extremely welcoming and quite simply, lovely. My daughter of 4, who doesn't speak a word of German, said one of the waitresses/hosts was now her 'best friend,' and she was sad to leave. Really absolute A+ service throughout, always a smile. The breakfast was terrific as well. Delicious cappuccino and a broad selection of everything. Bread, croissants (laugen, even!), yoghurt, pastries and cake. My daughter went to the buffet four times; we've never seen her enjoy breakfast as much as here. Oh, and the fresh orange juice was delicious, too.

Where do I begin?? 🥰🧿 The two partners - Connie & Gosia are the most warm, beautiful, charming and generous hostesses. The hotel itself is so special with spacious bedrooms with some having gorgeous lake side views. I highly recommend staying in-house for dinner to enjoy Chef Gosia’s DIVINE 3-course meal. She made a special vegetarian meal for us which is the BEST vegetarian food we’ve had in Switzerland. Chef Gosia also made special arrangements for our breakfast which was all so beautifully presented. Roger who works in the restaurant was so kind and professional as was the lovely young lady who took care of us as breakfast. Thank you so much for the most incredible stay - we will return for a longer stay in the summer 🙏🏽♥️

The location is amazing and the staff and service was impeccable. Ski on and Ski off was so easy. For a small fee the hotel can bring you and/or your luggage from the cable car to the hotel by snow mobile which the kids really loved. Breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening at the hotel was just perfect. We can't wait to go back again. My little son said it was the best weekend package and skiing he has had.

This was a perfect stop for a few days when driving home from Italy to Sweden in the real summer heat. The building is a bit dull from the outside but that doesnt´t reflect the interior, the location, the facilities and the service at all. Everything else is super, especially the views, the staff, the restaurant with its large windows and terrace and superb food and very good wine list, and the lush and green beach garden with the wonderful beach bar. The rooms are also nice and functional. Plentiful car parking possibilities with direct access to the hotel. Very close to Engelberg, Pilatus, Luzern and other sights around for short excursions. We really enjoyed our days at the hotel!

Very beautiful hotel with absolutely incredible view ! From the bed you ll see full lake and mountains, peace and calmness that’s what we really need ! Breakfast was average nothing delicious and special ! Location is perfect!
