I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. A standout feature was the ever-present snacks and fruits, which were promptly refilled whenever they ran out. The attention to detail and level of care was remarkable. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days, and Hotel Zeit & Traum delivered it in spades. In short, this hotel combines a fantastic view with world-class service. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with a view that takes your breath away, and staff that treats you like family, Hotel Zeit & Traum is the place to be.

Gorgeous location & views, very close to public transport which is also free with their local transport card, close to shops too. Spotless and clean, large bathroom and balcony which isn’t common in Europe. Very comfortable bed, bedding and towels. Good wifi. Great restaurant downstairs. No minibar in the rooms but there is a large communal fridge where we kept our wine etc. Easy check in/out process. All ammenities listed were included. From memory this hotel had the 6 sided/elongated diamond adapter with the three prongs but a few countries we visited used either so you should prepare to travel with both anyway, we were able to get one from the shops easily as we forgot to get both at the airport.

Fantastic stay at Eden Spiez - we decided to splash out for our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were incredible friendly and helpful. Though on the front side of the hotel, the room still had a lovely view of the lake; we were provided with welcome drinks, and complimentary fresh bottled water (still + sparkling) every day plus chocolates; there were apples available for guests as well, plus as a cake buffet in the afternoon. Car parking was in a secure multistorey car park, and the hotel was situated a few minutes walk from the restaurants/shops of Spiez, and lake. We did not use the spa much, but enjoyed a full body massage on the day of arrival, and will certainly look forward to using the facilities more when we return in future.

It was my birthday and I was given a surprise special attention at the breakfast with birthday song and sparkle light. The variety at the breakfast was also great. The room was quite comfortable with almost every needed toiletries. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The Spa area was superb. The entire indoor felt like living in a castle though not so modern but all classy and feels homely.

The staff at hotel excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We would have preferred a front lake view of the lake but the side view was just fine and good view of the lake. Room was Ok. Bed not very comfortable, mattress a bit lumpy and duvet also lumpy. Beautiful view. A nice holiday.

It is our 3rd time staying in this Hotel and we are still satisfied with the services. The Apartment is spacious enough for the family with good breakfast. The pool is also a plus with bathrobe and slippers provided for the guests. It is a family friendly hotel.

We went there during winter, without thinking of skiing.

We went there during winter, without thinking of skiing. We visited many of the most touristic places, like Grindelwald and Jungfraujoch, plus other cities around. The hikes plus the views were incredible, I totally recommend them. One of the days we went to Grindelwald terminal, where we rented a sledge and took a cable car to play with it. It was really fun, and if it weren't because of the time, I would have gotten the day pass to go over and over again. I really want to go back again, but next time I'll probably include more winter sports, like skiing and more sledges adventures. One more hint, check the activities available for the time of the year you are visiting. We wanted to do sledging in one of the mountains, but that specific route was closed, so we moved somewhere else to do it. Lastly, Switzerland in general is a bit expensive and Interlaken is no exception. Keep in mind your budge for food. We went to McDonnalds where we got 2 combos and we spent around 30 pounds.

Thun is a nice city.

Thun is a nice city. Very easy to walk around and small shops that are nice. We were there in December which was chilly and blue/grey, but the Christmas market was cheerful and bright. We took day trips to Bern, Speiz, Schilthorn, and Interlaken and always appreciated coming back to this quieter town. In the summer it would be interesting to enjoy the lake and all the activities offered.

wilderswil is very close to the center of interlaken city...

wilderswil is very close to the center of interlaken city where supermarket, stores, restaurants are located. easy to get there by public transportation by train or bus from train main station (interlaken ost). also the location is close to lauterbrunen for sking and getting view of hills and snow during winter if there is no snow in interlaken or wilderswil

Hotel is fair. Nice view and off the tourist are Big dissapointmnet was i left an airpillow in the room and asked them to mail it back to me. They agreed for a fee which i duly wired and paid but never receive the pillow Big dissapointment Esp when i showed them the wire transfer as well

It has the best location and beautiful scenic views to offer, with peace and calmness. The apartment is quite old but was clean and has comfy beds.We only stayed there for one night but will remember the lovely views of the lake from the kitchen window .

Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer.

Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

An Amazing view with best panoramic view of the lake and mountains. Plus bonus view of the dears grassing in the early hours. The chalet have everything you need at top quality. Do not miss the nearby easy hike with wonderful views of the woods, fields and lake. It’s an experience to treasure. The chalet is Easy accessible and near all what you need . Thank you Markus for the welcoming experience and nice chats definitely coming back.

The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade...

The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade the hotel are in full process but as a guest it did not bother me at all. It will take probably some time but in the meantime the place is clean and well taken care off. Breakfast was excellent, the staff is very help full and makes you feel at home. it has a great terrace with a Beautiful view over the valley. Only point of attention is the parking space, there is a private parking garage with a only few reserved spaces for the hotel but the rest is shared with the neighbors. parking around the building is kind of a challenge but a public parking is 100 meters away. All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel and would re book the hotel in a heartbeat

We stayed in Interlaken for 2 days and we really wished we had 1 more full day. The day trips to Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen were amazing, but we would have loved 1 more full day to explore Interlaken more.
