The service was impeccable, no request was too much for the amicable front office staff. The beverage station on every floor was a great touch. Previous reviews mentioned the sound of church bells to be disturbing at night, but we found them to be soothing and not inconvenient. Loved the design concept running through the hotel and we look forward to exploring their sister properties.

Great staff, very practical check in and check out. Good value for money. Very close to Congress Center Basel if you travel there for business. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to try the breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Unique value for money accommodation in the heart of Basel. Modern, spacious and comfy rooms. Free mini bar was a bonus . Helpful and friendly staff . Nice roof top bar with terrace will be lovely in Summer time. Highly recommended.

Basel is very easy to navigate.

Basel is very easy to navigate. You can quickly reach every point and landmark in the city. Public transport is very well organized, there are always places to sit. The proverbial Swiss punctuality is exactly as they describe it. In the central part, most of the landmarks are within walking distance. The surrounding environment in the city is very calm and there is no traffic of cars or people.

I am extremely unhappy with Booking.com for the misguiding. This was a haunted, deserted place and I was all alone in the entire dark building. I left without staying there. I demanded a return but did not get it

The Xmas market is a lot smaller but is nice enough, for a weekend break or you can go on to Colmar or Strasbourg by train or transfer which is what we did. We saw all the main things in Basel within two days.

We were there to catch a river cruise for the Christmas...

We were there to catch a river cruise for the Christmas markets. It was one of the best places we stayed on our 5 week trip around northern Europe. The tram system is easy to navigate. Very clean and if you stay near the river, you are close to everything. They had great restaurants and an awesome roof top bar ( B1 roof top bar ) just a short tram ride away from the center of the city.
