great hospitality of the owners, we could not have diner in the restaurant because of a private party but they have more than compensated this by offering a bottle of wine for our pick nick during hiking and by their friendlyness, we will surely go back.

We had a great time at Gasthaus zum Bauernhof where the old-time charm is mixed with modern functionality. Spacious and clean rooms, comfy decoration, easy parking, big terrace - anything that you might want to enjoy at the hotel. The restaurant deserves a special attention - it’s definitely worth going there. We went for the full menu and were absolutely not disappointed. The home-made bread was a great addition to our dinner, not to mention a good wine list. We would definitely come back!

I thought it was nicely situated, on top of the hill, and the two restaurants were a short walk away. I enjoyed the quiet and the room was luxurious.

Staff were excellent, very nice and friendly. Hotel was very clean and spotless. It's halfway between mountains and big cities, that's why we picked this location. It's about 40 minutes from Basel airport and 1 hour 20 minutes from Titilis mountains. You need to rent a car if you choose this hotel. Thank you for all your kindness and hard work.
