Great breakfast and quick delivery of it and friendly and professional servers; comfy beds and pillows: good shower [water force] and toilet [strong flush] and sink faucets [immediate hot and cold water]; the addition of an iron/iron board and hair dryer [although not used]; and the usual add-ons-fridge, microwave, luggage racks.

We appreciated the honest pricing- we paid the advertised price only- first time that happened on our tour, booking.com is terrible at not revealing the correct prices. It was very generously appointed, so much more than we expected for the price. Lovely soft towels and wonderfully comfortable bed! Loved its location.

The room was very clean, very minimal, but very modern! Shower (walk in) was amazing! Bedding was comfortable and breathable. Loads of pillows (there can never be enough extra pillows). We are usually in for a night and off we go again folks. This location was SO lovely, we are looking into visiting over the summer for a few days. Cannot recommend this spot enough. There is an excellent resturant two doors down (Chez Kyle's). We ended up arriving early, and I asked one of the owners if we might be able to check in early. She was incredibly accommodating, and we were more than grateful for the extra hour she was able to provide.

Jason on the front desk made our trip so memorable he went out of his way to help us park (we were on motorcycles) to making sure the restaurant could stay open since we arrived late! Amazing personality loved talking with him!The restaurant waitress Carolyn was so friendly and bubbly a true gem

Thoroughly bilingual.

Thoroughly bilingual. The train station is interesting if you're a railway enthusiast. But stay on the platform! Right next door is the unassuming Italian restaurant Pronto, where diner was delicious and the service sincerely friendly.

Small town that's fun to visit when the weather is right.

Small town that's fun to visit when the weather is right. We had a rainy day - not much to do indoors, especially last minute. There's a cinema that had 2 movies in the evening, and one bowling alley. We enjoyed the walking trail near the water that brings you to a few local shops (coffee, gift shop, secondhand books, etc.), restaurant Pronto and drove to Charlo for the beach area. I'm sure there are neat hiking spots in the area.
