Excellent option for the night close to the airport The only issue - there is no restaurant in the hotel for the dinner, but the Moxis restaurant in the area is an excellent option and also there are some other places that are very close, of course you can choose to eat in the restaurant of the Hilton ( 3 min walk)

Thank you for a pleasent stay. The apartment we rented was perfect, very comfortable for 3 people (2 separate rooms which is not so common in hotels). There is a train to the city town few steps from the hotel. The staff in the hotel very nice and helpful

It was comfortable, staffs were nice and helpful, specially Mr. ISAH, such a sweet guy. & also Saul. Room was big enough for two, small fridge, micro, coffee pods, etc *Breakfast arrangements* were cute, I wud say... they offered all u need, coffee, tea, waffles, pancakes, muffins, breads, bagel, spreads.. Cereals and egg..!! What else do u need. There is a shopping mall nearby, St laurent, about 5mins walk from the hotel, which was convenient.

The facilities are well maintained. The cleaners were exceptional. The location downtown near the UOttawa is a very good business decision. The receptionists were very professional and welcoming. The kitchen design was beautiful. No smelly carpets. Les Suites Hotel was home away from home. I will recommend it for any family bonding experience.

Ottawa has a lot of great things to see , many fantastic...

Ottawa has a lot of great things to see , many fantastic museums. I was there for 5 days and wish I had stayed longer to have time to see mor.e Definitely go on a river cruise. I particularly enjoyed the Canadian Museum of History across the river in French speaking Gatineau, Quebec and the fantastic Canadian War Museum.

Very nice location. Many shops and restaurants in area. Just off the 417 and over the bridge from where the Senators play. 20 minutes to downtown. Visited the Nordic Spa in Quebec. It was 30 minutes away and worth the trip. It's an outdoors relaxation area with 7 cold and warming pools, a salt water oasis and spa treatments.

There was a strong sewer smell in the second floor hallway. Our 1st room was awful but the next one was an upgrade for sure. Ken was very nice at the check-in and for our messy room ordeal. The breakfast and breakfast lady was awesome. It was included with the room and there was a big selection of option for a continental breakfast. It was a really nice stay...if the pool would of not been broken our stay would of been close to perfect. Also there was a little area across the road with different restaurant, lcbo, winners, arden.

The location was great related to where we needed to be but...

The location was great related to where we needed to be but there were far too many issues. Essentially on the surface, the Riverrock seems nice enough but the staff appears not to care. We had issues with the internet and TV only working intermittently. The door lock was glitchy, the window, once opened, would not close, no hot water and the breakfast was extremely basic. Unfortunately, it's the only hotel in the area.

Attention - the Parliament is in terrible state (from the outside, because it is under MAJOR renovations. So don't expect to be able to take any impressive pictures. There are also renovations being made on many buildings downtown and you can already see a certain modernization, as well as preservation of some beautiful old buildings in the downtown core - which actually looks really great and is very interesting and fun to see. We just loved the National Art Gallery and their exhibits, as well as the Canadian History Museum in Gatineau. We had a great time exploring the Rideau Canal and different areas of the city.

The hotel was close to the Canadian Tire Center which was...

The hotel was close to the Canadian Tire Center which was where our concert was being held. It was clean and although the line up was very long upon checking in, the staff was efficient and very friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

it has some nice features - lots of parks!

it has some nice features - lots of parks! We walked everywhere, couldn't get into the parliament building no matter how often we showed up there - we really wanted to see a bit of how parliament works. Food is much more expensive than in the US and we only ate at maybe 2 places - not very good, food is kind of bland and very expensive. We went to Ottawa to see the Louise Penny event at the art center for the launch of the Black Wolf - she is amazing - we've read all of her books. There were few actual cafes and the few we stepped into did not have any appealing treats, Ottawa does not at all feel like a "foodie" town
