GermanyWe spent three nights at Miette Mountain Cabins and absolutely loved it! The cabins are fantastic—spacious, cozy, and set in a beautifully maintained property. There’s a pool, hot tub, barbecue area, campfire spots, and even a games room with pool, darts, and more. They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies, which was a lovely touch. The laundry room was spotless, and everything throughout the property was very clean. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available as well. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Jasper, but the peaceful location and atmosphere made it totally worth it. We’d definitely come back!

The place is a little paradise on the edge of a river, you can see wildlife just outside your room. We saw a family of female cow elks with their babies floating down the river at dusk. Cottages are far enough from each other to not hear the neighbors. We liked that it was close enough to town to go walking.

Hotel is located in just a stunning place by the lake. The room was clean with an amazing view. If you want the staff to clean your room , you need to ask them. Everything you needed was in the room.

Accommodation was cancelled due to wildfires but I keep getting this silly 'rate your stay at Lobstick Lodge'. Communication from the hotel was excellent. Pray they get vack on their feet ASAP.

The people were cheerful and welcoming even as they're recovering from the fire of 2024. We ate at the Raven restaurant which had fantastic food and excellent service in addition to outdoor seating. The Maligne Lake sunset cruise was wonderful with a fun guide.

We also had an icecream at Scoops- the range of flavors was tremendous.
We went shopping and my friend found a bathing suit for $40 that is unheard of.
The hot tub at the Lobstick was fantastic 👌

Friendly and interesting shops a restaurants. Easy to walk around. Rock Mountaineer offices have moved from station to other side of road and further up. Good local museum on outskirts of town; plenty of artifacts.
