We stayed in a cabin and absolutely loved the experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Each cabin has its own designated parking space, and it’s surrounded by forest with a river nearby. We could spot lots of little animals around the cabin. Every cabin also had a fire pit area with a bag of firewood provided, and inside there was a cozy fireplace that kept the place warm even in the cold weather. The kitchenette had a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave.

Love the location, the outdoor hot pool and sauna and most of all pet friendly. They had clean dog bed and dish for my senior dog. Not to mention complete with all basic kitchen amenities, abundant supply of towels for 3 adults and a working fireplace. We were blessed and witnessed young, beautiful elks within the property. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Its nearly as bad as the worse parts of calgary, but with nice mountains in the background. Its an overpriced town filled with people who have more money than sense. There are few "real" businesses, costs are highly inflated, the infrastructure is crumbling and any new stuff there is is both poorly designed and built. Its obvious the town is run by self righteous diversity hires that lack any practical knowledge of how things run, and they definitely don't understand fiscal responsibility. Or simple items like traffic management and flow. The roads are rough, the prices are high, its faster to walk across town than it is to drive, there is very little to do with anyone who isn't a trail runner, the locals are rude and few of the employees at any store speak english. Much like nelson BC, its a beautiful setting only ruined by the town and people who are there.

Lethbridge is a vibrant and interesting small city. I especially like the coffee shops and local restaurants and Theory Brew (Theoretically Brewing company) as their brews are always interesting and I love that they have food on site and nightly events. There are even crafts days!! I could spend many hours there. The local owners and staff are amazing.

Medicine Hat is a very beautiful city with lots to see and do. Their paths and hiking trails are stunning and the history of Medicine Hat is plentiful.
