Really helpful contact with staff and information provided beforehand. Amazing location and thoughtfully arranged property at a reasonable price. Everything provided that was needed in the property, including a nice shared pool, and near to Blancaneux and Gaia lodges which have good restaurants (not cheap) if you don’t want to self-cater all meals. (Note: Gaia prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes).

Hidden Valley Inn -- unexpectedly, I stayed in a lodge, within 7300 acres of wilderness in the Mountain Pine Ridge, 1 hour away from San Ignacio. I was greeted like a special guest, stayed in a beautiful villa, minutes away from the grand lodge, and the pool. There are kilometers of hiking trails, 5 major waterfalls on the property. I did the Butterfly trail, a 30 minutes by car, and a 30 minutes hike. Splendid! When you arrive at the falls and it's emerald lagoon, in the middle of lush jungle, you think that these few moments “Oh Mon Dieu" There they were all for myself, known as the “jewel of the property", featured in several tourist brochures of Belize. The lodge is in the middle of the jungle. You wake up with the howler monkeys, you can have breakfast with the hummingbirds, you can go tubing on the river, visit the farm, make an excursion, and have a night walk to see all the creepy creatures of the jungle. For an ecolodge, the rooms are equipped very well. You get towels for muddy shoes, you have umbrellas, you have a lot of fans, you have good Wifi, you get a flashlight and even a mobile phone. Huts have mosquito nets, but outside insect repellent might occasionally be necessary (not always and not everywhere though).

Surrounded by jungle, Crystal Paradise Resort is located outside of San Ignacio and boasts on-site hiking trails and tour guides. It also offers free Wi-Fi, bird watching and swimming.

Very friendly staff, family run resort. AC in the room. Saw keel billed toucans and collared aracari on the resort multiple times. Food was delicious. Eric, one of the family members was our tour guide on a few outings and was fantastic.

Everything ! The place is amazing, really beautiful, clean, new and peaceful ... The staff was great, thoughtful and worried about every single detail. Amazing place for vacations !!!! Even nicer than the pictures.

Great location at the top of the hill and right beside Cahal Pech. The restaurant food was amazing. The pool was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They filled up our water bottles when we left and provided us transport down the hill on a very hot day, which was very appreciated.
