The studio apartment was absolute perfection.

The studio apartment was absolute perfection. There is staff at the front desk around the clock and a security guard stationed outside, which made me feel safe at all times. The location couldn’t be better—it's set in one of the most beautiful and upscale areas of Salvador and just a few blocks from the beach. You’ll find everything you need right on the same street, including a grocery store, coffee shops, and even museums. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I return to Salvador. The host was incredibly accommodating and shared so much helpful information about the area. I highly recommend staying here!

Morro de São Paulo is one of the most beautiful places in Bahia . The views are gorgeous, the beaches are extremely clean, the water is warm & calm . Impossible not to relax in this paradise . Take a little time to visit Gamboa on the other side of the island . $10 reais p/person on a boat taxi takes you there .

Itacaré has a relaxed and bohemian vibe with charming streets lined by vibrant colour houses. Is relatively untouched by massive tourism and evolved by ecological reserves, rainforests, and beautiful landscapes. Is the perfect spot for those who love sports like surfing, climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding and trekking.

Praia do Forte is great for holidays.

Praia do Forte is great for holidays. It has something for everyone. Plenty of restaurants, beach shopping and different types of beaches: natural swimming pools are the atraction but you can find some calm waters as well some deep ones. You won't run out of things to do there.

Ilheus is a small city.

Ilheus is a small city. The central district is walkable and very enjoyable. There is an area a few blocks from the hotel with food trucks, ice cream shops and music. There is a wonderful area a couple of blocks north of the hotel for children to play. There is a Brazilian Churrascaria a couple blocks west from the hotel that had a great buffet with salads and grilled meats. It is only open until 3pm. It was very convenient to have small restaurants in the hotel building. Try the chocolate factory and Bom Bom factory. The South beach has many bars and great seafood.

A lively, bustling area with plenty to go for eating and shopping. It is less urban than Salvador but still very densely populated and active with everything you need close by. I felt safe, especially during the day. I didn't go out at night as much, so I can't comment on that. But it was beautiful and not too far from beaches or other attractions by car or ride share.
