I wish I could give a "20" for this hotel, but I can only do a "10". Such a well designed place! - Staff - All the staff are awesome and very kind people. They welcomed us with a glass of prosecco at the check-in. We needed a few small things during the stay and everything was served in a very high professional manner. - The hotel is a piece of Art - hand painted doors and windows with bulgarian "shevica" elements. Colorful ceilings in style that comply very well with the Koprivshtica town architecture. Incredible paintings of one of the bulgarian famous artists Peter Mitchev - "Pedro". - The food - We tested most of the dishes from the menu. Everything was so delicious and prepared by the hands of a "Master Chef". A food-art which is a pure pleasure for all of your perceptions. One little remark here to make is that the size of the portions is a little bit smaller, but I assume it is somehow expected for such an experience. However, if you go for a 3 course dinner, it is still completely enough to get you filled. - The SPA - Clean, modern interior, warm water pools, relaxing music... Everything you need for your relaxation. I tried the flotation capsule and it was very refreshing (it is charged additionally). - The Room - Soft and clean sheets with a comfortable mattress (at least for us). They gave us water with coffee and 2 little bottles of red and white wines as a compliment (a bottle is enough for 2 glasses) :). - Prices - We think that the hotel offers prices that are relevant to the quality of the whole experience. It's definitely worth it and will come back again.

Wee really enjoyed the city for its culture & history nice food ) cheap for drinks and taxis but be warned there are 2 taxis one is local & the other will rip you of they have priceists in the window so check first but l Highley recommend Sofia.

Central Sofia is so easy to get around. It has such beautiful architecture, churches of different cultures. Lovely shops. People are so friendly and helpful. It is really cheap to visit and restaurants great value. Happy restaurants are great value.we took English speaking bus tour which was great.

Sofia was more amazing than i could ever have expected. The highlight was taking one of the free walking tours where we learnt a lot about the city and Bulgaria in general. A very beautiful place, with some fantastic restaurants. Up and coming, and not yet inundated with tourists.

Go on the Free Sofia Tour as soon as you can during your trip, you will get to see most of the sights in just over two hours, you can then go back to the ones that interest you the most. We had a lovely dinner at Moma and also at Made In Home.

Serdika metro station is fab, with Roman ruins and souvenir shops. Churches and museums and theatre and parks all in the centre of Sofia. Plenty of tours as well as a early morning running tour or even a bike tour round 7 different parks. Great indoor market. Fabulous place to visit. A great restaurant is Einstein’s. metro is easy to use and you can get one pass for bus, trams and metro for any number of days.
