An exceptional hotel and casino. We felt like movie stars. Upon arrival, you see an extraordinary building that actually doesn't look real but is like something out of a movie. The receptionist (Amra or something similar) is extremely friendly and despite the fact that there is no one else at the reception and many people need him, he provides us with all the necessary information with a smile on his face. It is because of such workers that people feel special and come back. The room was extremely tastefully decorated, huge and sterilely clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is like from a magazine. The casino is large with lots of machines. We never waited for drinks and service. What surprised us the most was the incredible friendliness of all the employees, who really try to make you feel special. We were also surprised by the extremely good English of all the employees. We had breakfast and dinner. All the food was fresh and hot. We will definitely come back at the first opportunity.

I stayed here with my girlfriend, and we originally found this hotel on the map while looking for a place to stay in Haskovo. The location is excellent—just 20 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by car from the center. Right across the hotel there is a huge, green park with cafés at the entrance and a zoo at the end. It feels more like a forest than just a park. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, and it was absolutely worth it—very clean and well maintained. The rooms were spotless; I honestly couldn’t find a speck of dust. Breakfast was delicious, sufficient, and served quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They solved so many of our small problems during our stay. Many of them speak Turkish, and even though their English is a bit limited, communication was never an issue. We had two wonderful, peaceful days here. If you are staying in Haskovo, this is definitely the place to choose. It’s quiet, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast and dining areas are also nicely designed and well kept. The room had a TV, a fully stocked minibar, and fast, reliable internet. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we left very satisfied.

Fantastic room with separate bedroom. Good location, 10-15 minutes walk from railway/bus station. Very clean and nice and super helpful receptionist. The breakfast was also very good, it was possible to choose from 5 alternatives, I choose the vegetarian one. Good to have vegetarian alternative, not to waste any meat. I would certainly choose Hotel Slaviani if I go there again.

we will never visit this location again, never got to see the sights, we were there only to rest and shower before our onward journey. but on two occasions in 2 years we have visited this location, both have been bad experiences, wont be going again

I love the art on the buildings. Great places to visit.

I love the art on the buildings. Great places to visit. There is shopping, cafes and lovely restaurants. Peaceful walks in parks and nice walks with the locals on the evening. We saw fun street art and locals walking around as well. Mr. Corner bar and pizza is brilliant! Prices good and plus size portions. Museum is good but could do with some English signs to help us understand a bit better.

Madzharovo is a hidden gem!

Madzharovo is a hidden gem! I would recommend to any nature-love and animal-lover to visit it! The whole area is full of Thracian and nature landmarks and rare species of flora and fauna. The town is small but with rich history and offers a lot to do around for both history and nature lovers. I definitely want to go back and stay longer!

We Thought we were in paradise or at least in Haremlike house, also the smell was Arabic The building was like Arabic beautiful!!! The entryhall was a real hall. Overwhelming. The room just great, furniture accessories lights bathroom and so on superb and we really enjoyed every little item every bit for comfort and a certain cosyness.Friendly helpfulness without being devout. We’re certainly coming back on our return voyage

There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...

There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.
