Recently stayed at Hot Springs Medical resort and SPA and it was a delight. The spa facilities were top-notch, offering a perfect retreat. we have experienced massage services for all our big family, Catherine. Daniela and man ( unfortunately forgotten his name) perform very good services. The breakfast was not only delicious but also varied. The room was quiet and comfortable, providing a peaceful night's sleep. Kudos to the attentive staff. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The place was super relaxing for us. Even for the short trip it was much fun. The atmosphere is amazing, but it may be not so amazing for everyone - the concept of coliving doesn't match well with 4-star service hotel. So if you are ready for self-service, exploring places and meeting new people - it's a perfect place. But if you want a traditional hotel you may be dissapionted. We liked the food - it was simple but nice, the drinks were amazing and having dinner and breakfast in the garden is priceless. Our room was perfectly clean and the main bed was super comfy. We definetely would like to come here again for a longer stay.

This property should have at least 9,5! Everything was fantastic - location in the picturesque place in the Pirin mountains, huge territory of the complex with various outlets and activities (restaurants, bars, spa center, billiards, board games, boutiques, shops, etc.), amazingly friendly staff, stylish spacious rooms with the cozy terraces and mountain view, high quality cosmetics, outstanding cleanliness. This hotel is incredibly luxurious and stylish, most of all I like the presence of fireplaces, coziness, paintings gallery in the halls, and the use of wood, huge windows and spaces in the interior. It is comfortably just to stay here in the restaurant with huge fireplace and a cup of tea. Specially I would mention food and beverage facilities. We had breakfast and dinner included and were incredibly surprised of the set-up and the food options. You will find here everything you need on the dinner buffet: 10+ dishes on cold stations, more that 6 cheese types, 4+ dishes on the hot station, different soups from day to day, vine card, fruits, fresh vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, 5+ salads. Breakfast was excellent! There are opportunities to create your own to take everything from the buffet, however service staff will kindly offer their help and you will be served hot scrambled eggs straight from the kitchen immediately. All the drinks will be also pleasantly served for you. Exclusively would thank Tatyana, Emine and Evgeniya from F&B, Pavel and Artem from FO and to all HSK team for their outstanding service and customer care. Thank you so much! Your property is amazing for any kind of stay with family or friends and during any season, so we definitely plan to come again! Thank you, dear team of Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa!

Bansko is an amazing place!

Bansko is an amazing place! Food is amazing, with a lot of good Mehanas (old style restaurants). You can skii in winter and trek in summer. There are numerous place to rent your skiing gear, and it's very well priced. Totally recommended!

I have always had a soft spot for Sandanski since I was a child. As someone who loves the city, I'd like to share my thoughts from a tourist's perspective, in hopes that the tourism industry can benefit from some constructive feedback. While the city is blessed with abundant natural resources, it falls short in terms of human management and tourist services. Instead of leveraging and enlarging its natural attractions like the park to draw in tourists, the focus is more on excessive construction around these areas while neglecting the existing infrastructure. For example, while there are mineral water springs and open swimming pools in the city center, they are surrounded by littered spaces and unattractive buildings above. Additionally, an abandoned swimming pool for high dives sits neglected next to them. This is not appealing and pushes tourists like me to pay 23 euros to use the Hotel Sandanski swimming pool. I don't find that very reasonable. The food quality in the restaurants in the city center is poor, despite the fact that the area produces the most delicious fruits and vegetables. The service is also unsatisfactory. Would it be possible to renovate and reopen the abandoned Baikal restaurant to provide at least one decent dining option without the risk of dissatisfaction? Overall, the city's potential as a tourist destination is being overlooked. This is evident from the moment you enter the city, as you can immediately notice the beautiful, unique trees alongside the broken streets.

Banya is just an ordinary Bulgarian village blessed with natural gifts of hot mineral wster springs which recently have attracted the attention of hotel investors. It still has to catch up with community infrsstructure and outlook. This may be expensive but there are some cheaper and fsster option-the local council could recommend in what is viewed as emerging spa resort planting of pine trees in house yards, to engage in a project of plastering houses from outside etc. All of this while the inside hotel stay was perfect. This makes me think that investors should be required by local counvil to contribute.

Blagoevgrad makes the impression of a clean and well designed city. There is fish in the local river, which is relatively small. Peaceful streets, well-kept compared to other cities in the country. Tasty food with many options. There is also a historical part of the city, as an example of ancient architecture.

Aspen Golf resort is located a few kilometers above the main road leading to Bansko. There are several smaller markets in the area. Lidl is located in Ralog, 6 km away. from the resort. The resort is located in a very quiet place in nature. Some buildings are not completed because the tourist complex is being built.

Ognyanovo is small village with natural thermal water. It is quiet, nice place with great nature. It is perfect for city escape travel. You can eat in hotel restaurant or in one of lot small tavernas. The Pirin Mountain is few km. away, and it is one of most beautiful mountains that I have ever seen.

Great view, a bit distant from the big cities but that's the charm of it. Mineral water is a treasure, outdoor fun activities for the kids were much appreciated. Fantastic food, great value for the cost. Locals are super nice, make you feel more than welcome.

Melnik is the smallest town of Bulgaria.

Melnik is the smallest town of Bulgaria. Picturesque architecture, small cobbled streets, most of the houses are small restaurants and hotels. The town is among the examples of old architecture in the Balkans. There is the Kordopulov house to visit - a museum hosted in a big wine producer's house from the XVIII century. Also interesting are several other examples of late medieval architecture. Local food and wine are notorious. Especially the wine. However, drink with caution - local red wines are heavy and require a good balance with the food.

Extremely beautiful nature and surrounding area with a lot to explore. A plethora of different dining options, although limited to a traditional cuisine. The people, as far as my personal experience, was more than friendly and talkative. I had the fortune of being shown around by a local, who i might say is awesome, which is an understatement, however, you can get by just by asking around. One of the better local wines I have had in Bulgaria. Petrich allows you to detach from the day-to-day life of the big city, while still providing all the 'needed' amenities such as big shops, banks and general services. Most importantly, if Bulgarian, Petrich allows you to "expand" your vocabulary and understanding of the language itself. I thoroughly recommend a visit!
