Our stay in Hotel Perun was amazing. All staff are amazing very polite,kind and helpful. Always smile and positive. The reception lady was absolutely fantastic and the rest of the staff was. Breakfast was fantastic, there were options for everyone's taste. The restaurant menu was simple but delicious just what I prefer. The spa centre is excellent, very clean and the right place to have some relaxation and recharge. The room was very clean and had all the amenities in place. Highly recommend Hotel Perun to everyone. My husband had a very good massage, and said the guy is fantastic. Very quiet place and just what we needed for relax and peace.

Swimming pools and saunas are wonderful, warm water, very clean and quiet and not crowded at all, could find many empty sunbeds. Breakfast was very good, with enough options to pick from. Coffee was pretty ok. Staff very friendly. Parking was large. Great place to relax a bit if you have a long way ahead to drive, or even a good option to spend a few days there and relax.

We truly appreciated the upgrade to our room — thank you for this thoughtful gesture. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the center of Bansko, making it easy to explore. Fantastic new smallish hotel in Banya, right beside the ancient Turkish bath. Rooms are very comfortable, aircon and wifi work well. There is enough parking for guests. Very good value now that Banya is ''on the map" so to speak.

We stayed with our three children in the three bedroom apartment, and it was very spacious, comfortable, warm and clean. It was in the same building with the spa center and the main restaurant where the breakfast (very rich) was served. The thing that we liked most of all were the two outside heated swimming pools: it was such a pleasure to stay in a hot water with the snow around you. Once it was snowing just over our heads while we were swimming, and it was a unique and fantastic experience. The staff was always very helpful and polite. Will be back for sure!

Location of the hotel is the best you can wish according to me At the entrance of the park Sveti Vrach and at the beginning of the main street of the town. Although I didn't use any of facilities in the hotel (I came to visit the town.) I saw large number of facilities for relax or SPA. Some guest were lingering up and down in the hotel wearing SPA gowns and SPA slippers giving a feeling of being in their own homes. Hallways in the hotel are bright, clean and broad. Room was spacious with modern interior. I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

This hotel is such a rare gem 💎 that we feel lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to be there and experience the beautiful surroundings, enjoying the nature, listening to the river next to the hotel, and the mineral pools - everything was absolutely amazing 👏. Town had plenty of optionality for dinning and drinks. Bulgarian people as a whole were super friendly. Pricing on slopes very competitive. Ski hire (we used Grizzly) very well priced as were the lift passes. Old town really picturesque with great quality Bulgarian cuisine. Negatives. Gondola, manic busy in peak hours. We had to opt for a taxi transfer every morning (6 euros pp). Skiing not ideal for beginners. Very limited options for people finding their feet on the snow.

I have always had a soft spot for Sandanski since I was a child. As someone who loves the city, I'd like to share my thoughts from a tourist's perspective, in hopes that the tourism industry can benefit from some constructive feedback. While the city is blessed with abundant natural resources, it falls short in terms of human management and tourist services. Instead of leveraging and enlarging its natural attractions like the park to draw in tourists, the focus is more on excessive construction around these areas while neglecting the existing infrastructure. For example, while there are mineral water springs and open swimming pools in the city center, they are surrounded by littered spaces and unattractive buildings above. Additionally, an abandoned swimming pool for high dives sits neglected next to them. This is not appealing and pushes tourists like me to pay 23 euros to use the Hotel Sandanski swimming pool. I don't find that very reasonable. The food quality in the restaurants in the city center is poor, despite the fact that the area produces the most delicious fruits and vegetables. The service is also unsatisfactory. Would it be possible to renovate and reopen the abandoned Baikal restaurant to provide at least one decent dining option without the risk of dissatisfaction? Overall, the city's potential as a tourist destination is being overlooked. This is evident from the moment you enter the city, as you can immediately notice the beautiful, unique trees alongside the broken streets.

Banya is just an ordinary Bulgarian village blessed with natural gifts of hot mineral wster springs which recently have attracted the attention of hotel investors. It still has to catch up with community infrsstructure and outlook. This may be expensive but there are some cheaper and fsster option-the local council could recommend in what is viewed as emerging spa resort planting of pine trees in house yards, to engage in a project of plastering houses from outside etc. All of this while the inside hotel stay was perfect. This makes me think that investors should be required by local counvil to contribute.

Blagoevgrad makes the impression of a clean and well designed city. There is fish in the local river, which is relatively small. Peaceful streets, well-kept compared to other cities in the country. Tasty food with many options. There is also a historical part of the city, as an example of ancient architecture.

The resort is located in a very quiet place in nature. Some buildings are not completed because the tourist complex is being built.

Great view, a bit distant from the big cities but that's the charm of it. Mineral water is a treasure, outdoor fun activities for the kids were much appreciated. Fantastic food, great value for the cost. Locals are super nice, make you feel more than welcome.

Ognyanovo is small village with natural thermal water.

Ognyanovo is small village with natural thermal water. It is quiet, nice place with great nature. It is perfect for city escape travel. You can eat in hotel restaurant or in one of lot small tavernas. The Pirin Mountain is few km. away, and it is one of most beautiful mountains that I have ever seen.

Extremely beautiful nature and surrounding area with a lot to explore. A plethora of different dining options, although limited to a traditional cuisine. The people, as far as my personal experience, was more than friendly and talkative. I had the fortune of being shown around by a local, who i might say is awesome, which is an understatement, however, you can get by just by asking around. One of the better local wines I have had in Bulgaria. Petrich allows you to detach from the day-to-day life of the big city, while still providing all the 'needed' amenities such as big shops, banks and general services. Most importantly, if Bulgarian, Petrich allows you to "expand" your vocabulary and understanding of the language itself. I thoroughly recommend a visit!

Melnik is the smallest town of Bulgaria.

Melnik is the smallest town of Bulgaria. Picturesque architecture, small cobbled streets, most of the houses are small restaurants and hotels. The town is among the examples of old architecture in the Balkans. There is the Kordopulov house to visit - a museum hosted in a big wine producer's house from the XVIII century. Also interesting are several other examples of late medieval architecture. Local food and wine are notorious. Especially the wine. However, drink with caution - local red wines are heavy and require a good balance with the food.

The sun beds on the pool were dirty and leave brown spots on the towels We were served hot bear at the restaurant The breakfast included was a sandwich and instant coffee( for espresso must be payed extra) Wasted money
