I needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for one night. Despite I'm not a big fan of hostels and mixed dormitory bunk beds but I liked the idea that it had curtains to have privacy. Also the late check-in because of the plane delay was so nice of them. Also the room was very spacious compared to any other hostel room.

I am very glad that this time I chose this Hotel, the best one among others I stayed in Liege. The Hotel is great, very stylish, modern, beautiful and comfortable. It has a very convenient location: in the centre, very close to the bus and train stations and to the historical part of the city, between two rivers and nearby is a beautiful green park to walk or to have jogging. The staff at the reception and in the restaurants are very friendly, polite, attentive and positive, many thanks to them for their kind help. The room is large and clean, beautifully and stylishly furnished, with a small kitchen but there is everything you need, with a large bathroom and necessary accessories, with a nice view at the river. The room is very calm and cozy. The restaurant and the brasserie are very tasty, with fast and good service. Unfortunately, I did not have time to use the services offered by the swimming pool and gym but will certainly do it next time I stay there:)

Excellent Service, Excellent Room and Excellent Location My friend and I, representing our trekking company, Alliance Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., Nepal, traveled together. I took a train from Berlin, Germany, and arrived early in the morning in Liege at this hotel (Hôtel de l'Univers Liège). From the moment we stepped in, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly and even offered us complimentary coffee—our first such experience in all of Europe! We had a midnight bus to Zurich and had to wait in the hotel lobby. The staff went out of their way to check on us, ensuring we were comfortable and offering drinks if needed. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out. This hotel provides great value for money, excellent rooms, a delicious breakfast, and, most importantly, a team that genuinely cares about its guests. We highly recommend this hotel to travelers from around the world. Without a doubt, we will choose this hotel again for future family visits, friend gatherings, and business trips. Liege was disappointing. It was untidy with a scruffy feel.

Liege was disappointing. It was untidy with a scruffy feel. Many homeless people and drug taking in plain sight. Much of the riverfront area was roadworks do forced to walk in the backstreets, which did not feel very safe. Too many people just hanging around. Such a disappointment.

The place was nice and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the host was responding fast - only in French. No other languages. The beds are hard, could be more comfortable. The bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms, so not much privacy. The neighbourhood was strange. In an industrial area, didn't feel like a safe place, only fast food places around. The parking is a free street parking. We stayed there for one night as a stop on our way and it was perfect for that purpose, I would not stay there longer.

Far nicer towns to visit than Liège and at the moment there are building works everywhere which detracts. Good choice if restaurants although a number of appear to be closed in a Tuesday do best check/book in advance.

We found lots of very steep hills, lots of closed stores and restaurants, lots of one way streets. It was not easy to get around. We ended up getting pizza delivered instead of going out. Seraing is not a picturesque city, very industrial.
