Wonderful little hotel with modern and spacious rooms. Great location that’s only a five minute walk from the main town square and an extremely convenient convenience store just below the hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely, rooms and general area were clean. I would highly recommend Le Merceny Motel to anyone travelling to Bastogne.

Amazing location, just around the corner of the small square, and close to restaurants, bistro’s etc. Not least also very easy to access main roads in a fast manner. BREAKFAST ALSO REALLY GOOD 😃

Small historic town with lots of character and charm.

Small historic town with lots of character and charm. Its history provides a large draw of tourists to the area with several museums nearby within easy walk from the centre of town. Beautiful natural scenery around it being nestled in the countryside of the Ardennes. Downside is bad traffic congestion through the centre of town during rush-hour and limited parking. Several bus routes connect the town to larger hubs in the region with frequent services. The town is fairly small so if looking to make the most of the museums and natural beauty there, including looking round the town, a visit of 2-3 days maximum would suffice.

It’s a really nice hotel with the best staff.

It’s a really nice hotel with the best staff. They put up a baby bed and our baby daughter slept like rock in it. They had the best recommendation for a restaurant in bastonge. It’s a shame they will retire soon and we would have loved to tried their former restaurant !

Amazing weekend away if you want to indulge into the history...

Amazing weekend away if you want to indulge into the history that comes with Bastogne. Visit the war museum / war rooms and Bois Jacques ! Fancy dinner at a unique location? Make reservations at Wagon Leo for a great dining experience in a unique setting!

Lovely town and surrounding area, lots to do if you enjoy...

Lovely town and surrounding area, lots to do if you enjoy the history of WWII. There are also, for the Nature lovers, many walks and caves within driving distance from Bastogne. Let’s not forgot about the Frites, beer, chocolate and of course the Ardennes Hams!
