We stayed two nights at Samphire on Rottnest and loved it. The room was immaculate clean and had a beautiful interior. The staff was very friendly and helpful with extra requests. In-room dining service was delicious and prices were reasonable. Pool area was never too busy and sun beds were comfy! Spotted a few Quokkas around the hotel which was always a highlight. Would certainly comeback!

I have always loved Fremantle, from having easy access beach areas to the fabulous old fishing port which is great for socialising, and would be even better if I wasn't allergic to the fish, but there are plenty of alternatives to eat. The Fremantle Markets are a highlight, still with some eclectic stall holders and craftspeople in among the more conventional market stalls and you can walk around to any number of different restaurants with cuisines from all over the world, with one which sometimes has belly dancing in the evening! The character of Freo is great too, just easy going and easy to get around. If you want some history get to the Shipwrecks Museum which is amazing, and go down to the main port for the full maritime museum which has an outlook to the ocean adjacent to the promontory where the Whadjuk Noongar people stood and greeted the newcomers in 1829, saying Kaya Kaya Kaya, welcome, and you will find a lot of that in Fremantle.

I am a regular visitor to Albany and class myself as almost a local resident because I am here that often. I would recommend going to the Anzac Centre, the Whaling Museum and the Amity Museum. The main shopping area is compact because everything is spread across a couple of streets and convenient to walk around. The people are friendly and the weather is nice and pleasant. I don’t think I can adequately describe Albany but I hope that this will help you.

Busselton has the most amazing beaches for families.

Busselton has the most amazing beaches for families. The bay offers calm clear waters perfect for young children and family pet. There is also a number of dog friendly areas everywhere except the main town beach. Out of town you can take your four wheel drive onto the beach and set up for the whole day. Lots of restaurants and cafes and a relaxed holiday vibe makes this a must see and stay location.

The property was very average.

The property was very average. The property smelt like vomit, which hit you in the face on arrival. The couch in the living area was covered in a sheet and was filthy/drawn on, which looked as if it has been picked up from a road side collection. In addition, there was a thick layer of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The kitchen was very minimal with only one red wine glass as an example. Therefore, with multiple people in the house, it wasn't set up well. This was a very disappointing stay and we were glad it was for only one night. Our expectations was purely for a clean property and general items for use, as we were there for an overnighter to continue our trip down south. The positives of the property is that it is inviting from the outside and it is in a nice location.

Geraldton is a goodly drive from Perth, allow 5 hours minimum by the highway, nice longer route is via the Midlands way. Allow longer for the drive if it's your first time because there are lots of scenic and historic places close to Geraldton for stopping/sightseeing. Geraldton deserves 2-3 nights if it's your first/only visit. Heaps of history and other places of interest.

Highly recommended.

Place was clean and roomy great to have toilet separate to bathroom. The biggest problem we had was the check in time which we felt was stereo typed and didn't want to be flexible. We did eventually get in earlier after several phone calls and a face-to-face at reception.
