The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool. Fabulous shower. We loved that we could get a day pass to use the facilities once we checked out and were waiting for our ferry. Wish we'd stayed an extra night.

Located in the lovely area & easy to access to the touristic points, as well as the supermarket. The whole idea of rennovating the old wardners' house into the hotel is a very good chance to acknowledge the city's history. Their complemntary services were also nice... welcome drink at the Gimlet bar, wine & beer at the fridge... if you love drinking definitely here's the place.

Exceptional service by all staff, everyone we passed by had a huge smile and greeting for us. Didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Plenty of activities to keep us occupied between lounges by the pool. Cichetti for dinner was absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the gnocci served with beautiful Wilyabrup wines. We ordered the lunch hamper for Christmas day and it was a bargain for $99 filled with prawns, smoked salmon, salads, loaf of baked bread and heaps more. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily, we had resident wallabies and bungarras walking around and through the grounds. I loved that the bungalows were a good distance apart too. We felt like every effort was made for us and loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon!

We had a wonderful time at the resort. Everything was great, room was clean and big enough for 3, we could see the dolphins from our room. The staff is friendly, the food is good (especially the pizza at the bar). Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area, rather than staying in Denham.

We loved it here. Beautiful view of the bay and the sunsets from the terrace of our bungalow. Easy access to the beach. Friendly and relaxed staff. Good barbecue facilities. Quiet nights. What made it special, was that the soil of the bungalow area was made of bright white shells instead of sand.

The beaches and anything close to the water were nice.

The beaches and anything close to the water were nice. Otherwise, we thought that it wasn’t so nice and there wasn’t much to do there, especially anything cultural. It was also very windy a lot of the time, something we had never heard about Perth and did not expect. Real disappointments were Yanchep National Park, Mettsam Pools and the kangaroo sanctuary on Heirisson Island. We won't be going back to Perth anytime soon, if ever.

I travelled solo, I opted for a shared bathroom and there were 2 bathrooms sharing 3 rooms which was ample. The room was quaint with a fan and some bottled water (no fridge) they had left ear plugs but I didnt need them as the venue closed at 11. The security to the accomodation level was secure. Bathrooms were fine (could have done with a deep clean but it was good for the price. Staff were accommodating.

We came to Albany specifically to visit the National ANZAC...

We came to Albany specifically to visit the National ANZAC Centre (as I have an ANZAC connection) and we were not disappointed. Very interesting and we could have spent more time there. The grounds and the view also very worthwhile. They have a restaurant at the Centre, but if you just want a snack or something cheaper, bring your own or eat beforehand. Also take the time to visit the separate excellent ANZAC memorial. We also visited the Granite Skywalk (Castle Rock), amazing views. There are a lot of stairs to get up there, so if you are not at your fittest, you may experience sore calves for a day or 3 after... but it is worth the effort! An amazing view from the lower lookout without scaling the rocks and ladder. We also visited The Gap and Natural Bridge, again great views and beautiful scenery. It's a real pity that some people ignore the notices about keeping to the pathway for safety and to keep the vulnerable plants and lichens safe. Perhaps these people are happy to be on the news in a rescue attempt... We booked 3 nights/2.5 days and probably could have done an extra day for time to visit the beaches. Plenty of supermarkets for food purchases if on a budget too.

Busselton has the most amazing beaches for families.

Busselton has the most amazing beaches for families. The bay offers calm clear waters perfect for young children and family pet. There is also a number of dog friendly areas everywhere except the main town beach. Out of town you can take your four wheel drive onto the beach and set up for the whole day. Lots of restaurants and cafes and a relaxed holiday vibe makes this a must see and stay location.

The property was very average.

The property was very average. The property smelt like vomit, which hit you in the face on arrival. The couch in the living area was covered in a sheet and was filthy/drawn on, which looked as if it has been picked up from a road side collection. In addition, there was a thick layer of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The kitchen was very minimal with only one red wine glass as an example. Therefore, with multiple people in the house, it wasn't set up well. This was a very disappointing stay and we were glad it was for only one night. Our expectations was purely for a clean property and general items for use, as we were there for an overnighter to continue our trip down south. The positives of the property is that it is inviting from the outside and it is in a nice location.

Geraldton is a goodly drive from Perth, allow 5 hours minimum by the highway, nice longer route is via the Midlands way. Allow longer for the drive if it's your first time because there are lots of scenic and historic places close to Geraldton for stopping/sightseeing. Geraldton deserves 2-3 nights if it's your first/only visit. Heaps of history and other places of interest.

Our stay at Mandurah was a BIG 10 out of 10. Restaurants were magic - food was top notch with excellent service. This is my 4th holiday to Mandurah without a vehicle. I consider Mandurah a relaxing stroll around city with excellent footpaths very clean and a world class entertainment (especially the New Year fireworks and foreshore Christmas decorations). My overseas visitor was also impressed with Mandurah. Well done, and congratulations.

Haven’t been for 20 plus years and still has the laid back chill time feel. Town has everything you could need and the local supermarket well stocked and did t feel overly priced. Two bakeries were always busy and plenty of places for breakfast and a coffee Walks in the National Park exceptional and the walks along the beaches were spectacular. Tried a few places for dinner and in all honesty apart from Little Leaf wouldn’t go back to the others. We enjoyed our put together meals watching over the water at our hotel room. Oh coffee from the van was great and liked to support the owner. People all friendly and families all seemed to be having a great time with the kids having some freedom out of the big smoke. Lovely to see kids playing and not focused on their phones.
