Even though we got the suite without the direct view over the valley, the room has its own deck out the back where you can watch the sunrise in the morning from the bar table, and an outdoor bed to chill or read a book.

Big shout out to Audry, who made our stay exceptional. Waking up to the horses close by was a really nice touch. Time went too quickly, and I will be booking another break at Krishna Farm Retreat.

Easy check in and check out process and the owner was only a message away if needed anything.
The cabin was so spacious for the size and was practical, such a great use of space. It was so warm and quiet, a real country cabin experience but with all the mod cons!

Only a few minutes out of Montville, but you feel like you are far, far away from the rest of the world. It's beautiful and so peaceful, and I felt like I could stay there forever. The view of the mini- lake, complete with lily pads and frogs, from the bedroom and living room was wonderful.
Absolutely recommend 100% if you are looking for an escape. I think it's particularly suited to romantic escapes!
The owner/ managers take excellent care of you without being even slightly intrusive. Hot, fresh baked croissants hung quietly and unobtrusively on your door every morning for breakfast! So many thoughtful little touches in the cottage, including a freshly laid fire ready to light! And you don't even notice other guests!
I particularly loved how many birds were on the property, whipbirds, kookaburras, currawongs, butcher birds, frogmouths (I saw 4!) Yellow tailed black cockatoos, sulfer crested cockatoos, pale headed rosella, ibis, doves, ducks to name a few...
It's perfectly located to explore the sunshine coast hinterland, but if you were so inclined you could never leave the property for your whole stay!
Just a note for anyone trying to work on holiday, there's no wifi and certain mobile sim cards will drop in and out of service, just as they do in the whole hinterland area. I'm not putting this in the category of things I disliked because it was not important to me.

Located close to the historic village on the Montville Maleny scenic drive. Lush green, has a tropical rainforest on premises, beautifully landscaped. Inspired by French luxury.
Has an amazing restaurant Long Apron on the property. The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and gives great recommendations.
Around the property, lots of scenic drives, walks and activities in a 30 minute radius, in the Sunshine coast hinterlands.

Superb, wonderful and special. Beautiful nature, view, quiet. Very beautiful and cosy villa. Near to cute Maleny and Montville, many opportunities for excursions: national parks, Falls, villages, Zoo, Ginger Factory, Gympie.... Beds very good, whirlpooö bath tub, kitchen, barbecue. Wonderful stay.

Pool was a beautiful spot, tucked in a bungalow. The shower was the best , hot and torrential in no time, the shower will definitely be missed. Staff are flexible and happy people . It was nice to be greeted with a smile.

Maleny is a lovely town which still feels like a community...
Maleny is a lovely town which still feels like a community while having a bakery, an IGA, art galleries, a lot of restaurants to choose from. They have all types of accommodation on the edge of the town centre where we stayed but also in the middle of town.
The IGA was a godsend when we lost our power due to the storms as we had brought food with us that would have spoiled if we couldn't get ice. IGA remained open (assumed that they had a big generator) so we were able to get ice and was able to save our food.
Very friendly people in all of the shops and stores we went into which was just lovely.

A beautiful country town in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Montville & Maleny are fantastic for a get away relaxing holiday. The Bird avery and botaniv gardens, Mary Cairncross Reserve, The Barrel Winery, Flame Hill Estate Winery, the restaurant choices and the quaint shopping streets make a pleasant trip. Is only a 30 minute drive to the beaches.

Nambour is an old established town but it provides easy and quick access to the Sunshine Coast( around 20 mins to the Sunshine Coast airport) where accommodation could be considerably more expensive. My stay in the Nambour Heights Motel was directly opposite the Nambour Hospital and relatively close to other places in the area. It was 11 minutes from the Buderim Ginger Factory and very close to the Big Pineapple. Also close to the Bli Bli water ski park which appeared to be a huge complex.

The main attraction in Beerwah is Australia Zoo but we actually skipped the zoo this time and opted out for a quieter and more peaceful trip. There are so many beautiful landscapes and walks to enjoy in the area and it's only a short drive to Maleny or Montville as well. If you are seeking a relaxing experience, I'd definitely recommend visiting those two little towns. We enjoyed the Thai Restaurant in Maleny and strolls through the streets of Montville followed by a hearty lunch at The Edge Restaurant. We also visited the Botanic Gardens & Bird Sanctuary in Maleny which was AMAZING!

Friendly informative staff. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family. Probably best to let staff know when arriving so can have aircon on before getting there. Took awhile to cool down but otherwise fabulous spot and great location to zoo. Would stay again.

My favourite Italian restaurant was open. So a hot pizza on a cold night made all the difference to our stay.
The local store has a great variety of foods for snacks or dinner and then it's nice just to walk around and explore the town.

Situated in the hinterland mountains of the Sunshine Coast, this area has great appeal. Good restaurants, boutique shops, and wonderful scenic walks, or for the less active, plenty of scenic drives.
Whether swimming under waterfalls, or enjoying excellent food this area is an excellent choice.

We go to Maleny reasonably often and we love the area. There are some great cafes, and interesting shops, events, and places to visit. Don't miss visiting Mary Cairncross Park, including the excellent cafe, and the Maleny Botanic Gardens.
