The cottages are so beautiful! It’s like a fairyland with pretty flowers of different species just outside your different coloured scheme house in the garden. Entering the house was a feast for the eyes with great attention given to every interior decor and details. A bonus to have a TV in every room and hall. Netflix service is provided where you can key in your own account access. There are plenty glassware and pretty plates for your use. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of space created within a mini cottage but fully furnished and equipped. We were pleasantly impressed with a bottle of wine given and a bag of honeycomb chocolates as a complimentary delight. Everything in this stay is wonderful with close walking proximity the the beach. It’s only a 10 mins drive to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor where all the dining restaurants are. We love this place and will highly recommend to our friends!

The Studio Spa room is spacious, clean and completed with a small kitchen facilities like a sink, fridge, electric kettle and microwave oven, and a small table for two enough to have a quiet dinner while watching tv in the room. The balcony was nice with excellent view. Toilet was spacious with shower and a spa tub. Will come back.

Well presented park, great atmosphere and staff exceptional. Probably a little pricey for what we got, the air conditioner failed during the heatwave and leaked water over our electrics but besides that excellent holiday. Just left early as kids tablets we're water damaged and they cracked the poops

Adelaide is a pretty city that has been planned for the citizens. Everyone is happy there. You can get help from anyone. People are polite, walking around is lovely. The beaches are not over crowded and the city centre is well organised. The only downside to Adelaide is the food. If you are a foodie, go to Melbourne. If you are an outdoors person, this is the place to be. Lovely city, but food is plain.

Mount Gambier we found to be so enticing, the most astonishing thing if went to was the Valley Lake. The recreational area is amazing, never seen before such detail to a play ground and BBQ area. The was a swing especially for wheelchair users, amazing 👏. Go to Blue Lake golf club, we hired a buggy and clubs, only played 40years ago. 3 hours later we made it through 9 holes and it was the most relaxing friendly place. Can't wait to play golf again.

Port Augusta in SA is like Alice Springs where I live in NT, both great places that people like to bash. Port Augusta has long been a crossroads to the north and south of South Australia and has long been a growing hub that has come along in leaps and bounds whilst still dealing with nay sayers. I would recommend Port Augusta as at least an overnight stop but also as a springboard for places like Whyalla, Roxby Downs and Adelaide. I try to stay in different places each time I visit and have experienced a lot of levels in accommodation, each with their own benefits.

Lovely town. Clean and the horse drawn tram was beautiful. We had dinner at the Larder Kitchen and the food was excellent. Went through the Victor Harbor National Trust House which was like stepping back into our grandparents era. Great history too. Can’t wait to visit again and take the Cockle Train.

Its a lovely town with lots to do in and surrounding areas. We loved walking and there were many places to walk and enjoy the history of the area. We arrived a few days after the school holidays had finished and it seemed a little quite... locals catching their breath. But we came for a rest too and did enjoy it all. It was also nice being able to have our dog with us and walked her everywhere.

If you're reading this you have probably heard about Coober Pedy already in which case it really is as different to the norm as you might imagine. It's a long drive there and back from just about anywhere but the mainroad north toward Alice Springs and south towards Adelaide is straight and fairly empty so it's easy driving.

It could be a much nicer town without the evening drunks in the street shouting and cursing. Did not feel safe out walking trying to enjoy the centre of the shopping area. Small groups just loitering around on corners, looking daggers at you and mumbling remarks. No police presence at all across the 2 days. Their visibility would make a difference to visitor confidence.
