Loved this place. Everything was smart, beautifully presented and staff were super friendly. Room service meal ordered was delicious. It was extremely cold in Orange when we arrived, but the room was cozy and warm. Bathroom was luxurious. Breakfast in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff member in there was extra friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault our stay.

Newcastle is a very old city but is being renewed in different areas. The Wharf is fabulous both to eat and just to stroll along. The beach is great. For accommodation try the Little National Hotel. We found it small but wonderful.

The accommodation is not what we expected.

The accommodation is not what we expected. It needed work, cleaning and was very noisy with the trucks along the highway using their brakes. The shower curtain was moldy, shampoo, condition & soap dispenser had fallen off wall and left on ground. Freezer was dirty, glasses needed to washed & wiped of grime before using. Air-condition in room did not work. Images of room didn't match what the room looked like it was older with dodgy renovation patches. We got room service from the restaurant that incurred a & $10 fee. The meal of simple chicken burgers was inedible due to the excessive amount of sauce which even after wipe off with serviettes could not be eaten. On check out we took the meals & advised management. They apologized and said would follow up. No follow up .. disappointing. Do not stay or eat at this motel.

Byron Bay has a stunning white sand beach where the sand makes a soft, even sound under your feet as you walk. There are lots of surfers and swimmers, creating a lively but relaxed atmosphere. The walk to the lighthouse is beautiful, with amazing coastal views along the way and we even spotted dolphins along the way. The nearby shops and restaurants are lovely and add to the overall charm. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the coast.”

When planning our trip, we had to choose between Coffs Harbour and Port MacQuarie for a 2-night stay between Byron Bay and Hunter Valley. We chose wisely, as there's more going on in Port MacQuarie. We had a good brunch at the Salty Crew Kiosk on the beach, and a quiet, pleasant, evening meal at The Other Side italian.

I'm biased, as a 17 year old way back in 1965, I enlisted into the Australian Army & spent some of my youth in Bandiana, so the Wodonga/Albury area holds fond memories for me & in the 60 years since then I have travelled & stayed in Albury at least twice every year and have close friends living in Howlong & Albury..

Wollongong is a great spot. Lovely beaches, harbour, nice walks. The city has most of what you want - live music at La La La's is a must if that is your scene. Lots of restauarants and bars and a cool food market on Thursday.

Wagga Wagga was once the Garden City of NSW and it lived up to that reputation, it is still a good looking city but it is getting scruffy with litter on the footpaths and some of its outer suburbs are at best third world standard. It does have many outstanding places to visit and is well served with cafe's and restaurants and clubs and hotels. the only reason we go there is to visit family members.

The location is quite remote and requires someone to drive at all times. The Villa we had was two bedroom/two bathroom which looked out to the golf course. It was very quiet and peaceful and was agreat place to relax. The villa was incredibly well equipped and there was nothing you could really ask for that was not there. The gas bbq was god send on our first night and we enjoyed a wonderfull steaks. All in all it was very short but great place to stay.
