The Motley Hotel was exceptional. Our room was on the 7th floor so no street noise and lovely views of the city. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast on 2 mornings. The food was absolutely delicious. The room was a great size and well appointed, I always appreciate bathrooms which have enough room to store toiletries and this was a very well designed bathroom. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The location was fantastic, we could walk into the city or to Olympic Park to watch the Australian Open. There is a tram stop right outside but we preferred to walk. The artwork and decor around the hotel and in the rooms are gorgeous.

Exellent location. Tram stop just roud the corner. Supermarket and all services at walking distance. Park and Merri Creek Trail very close. The building is new and more functional. Room very confortable. All equipments working well. Wifi signal ok. Staff very friendly. Special attention in cleaning and maitenance activity. The cottage itself was really cozy and welcoming , it was warm and comfortable, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was amazing, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, yet still close enough to everything we needed. We also really appreciated the breakfast options available , they were delicious and added a special touch to our mornings. The space was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, despite the small issue at check-in, we truly enjoyed our time here. With such a charming atmosphere and great amenities, we would definitely consider coming back!

I booked discovery, and I was upgraded from standard to Deluxe, which made our stay a whole lot more comfortable as we were staying for 10 days. The staff were friendly and helpful. We checked in after 11pm during non mannd hours, and the instructions given were clear to open the cross arm and access to our room with guidance of the map. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay as their is also a pool and a games room for the family to enjoy.

This hotel hearkens back a few years to the days of glitz and service, not cookie-cutter chain hotel! Enjoyed our stay here, chandeliers and orchids in the lobby, just beautiful. Well-stocked, comfortable, clean, responsive staff. Loved seeing "famous people who have stayed here" lol. Location is fantastic, we got around easily. Places to eat easy to find close, garden near.

In Melbourne there are plenty of concerts, theatres, and sporting activities to do. And Melbourne has great public transport! I loved the food & coffee in the Brunswick & Carlton area. I recommend a tour of The Great Ocean Road! With, Wine Hop And Coastal Tours; via GetYourGuide. My tour guide was, Emily. Heads up:- Suggest packing some warm clothes and a raincoat. It’s needed all year around in Melbourne!

Conveniently close to the hospital. Was able to pay in cash for an extra night booked at last minute and also was able to book further nights at short notice as needed. Very reasonably priced, pleasant staff, clean room, met our expectations and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Close also to a fuel station nearby.

The accommodation was dangerous despite their denials.

The accommodation was dangerous despite their denials. Extension leads and power packs strung across the bathroom floor (a wet area) from the only power outlet located in the bathroom. Free parkinfg was actually local council paid parking. TV did not work. I have referred this accommodation to ACCC and with their help to other relevant authorities. Booking .com not helpful despite claiming to have 'escalated my complaint.

Drove to Doncaster for a concert and from there to Ringwood. Shopping great and close to railway station. We caught train into Melbourne for a second concert and drove from there the following morning to go to a concert at Rochford winery.

no internet in the room at all. The shower rose was a cheap water saving shower rose which was the type that I would expect in a cheap caravan park. The windows were key locked and unable to open. The lounge seating belonged in the dump and was overdue for replacement. The kitchen rangehood housing and filter actually fell onto the food we were cooking at the time. The front verandah screen was difficult to open and shut. The unit that we stayed in needs to have an upgrade. However, I will add that the staff were great and extremely helpful

The room is good but the facilities are poor.. no water bottle I checked in at 9.30pm and the only water accessible was the bathroom tap… no microwave no toaster. Breakfast is advertised for $13 something but I paid $30 per head not worth the price..

Nice district.

Nice district. We were there mainly to visit our children studying on Monash University. There are lots of affordable serviced apartments for visitors to Clayton North. It is more convenient if you drive. Also advisable to take a drive to the nearby beaches at Brighton and Frankston.

The view from the room and pool were definitely a highlight of my stay. The room quality, facilities and cleanliness were immaculate. The pictures online are very accurate as to what you receive upon your stay at Hotel Chadstone. Chadstone shopping centre is extremely accessible from the hotel and has a variety of different food, shopping and activity options. I highly recommend any of the Funlab(strike) experiences like Holey Moley, Hijinx, Strike Bowling and Archie Brothers for a late night drink and activities. If going on the weekend definitely book in advance!
