Spotless, extremely well equipped, spacious and the wildlife in front of the porch was spectacular. Naighre was exceptionally helpful in her very detailed explanation of our options as first time Hall’s Gap visitors which made our stay so much more valuable. Very much appreciated. Waking up with kangaroos, ducks and cockatoos ruining while grazing the the beautiful garden was a magical sight. In other review somebody complained about synthetic sheets, well 80% cotton is good for me. Slept like a baby!

We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.

In terms of value for money, it's worth every dollar. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the cabin is large and spacious and each cabin has the privacy you need. I stopped in Park for one day on a trip and it was lovely. I will definitely come back to the place on my next trip.

Fantastic location in the beautiful nature. lots of wildlife around the cabin and daily visits from kangaroos etc. The cabin (Treehouse) was nicely designed and decorated with a mix of concrete, wood and a nice color combination. Warm welcome from Janene. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. We would highly recommend the place and will return.

Caretakers - Cam and Deb are wonderful people. We enjoyed catching up with them. This was our 3rd stay at the Villas. The addition of the extensive and beautiful nursery plantings continue to make the setting even more beautiful every year. Kudo's to Max's vision and Cam's implementation!

I absolutely loved this place: a lovely spacious bungalow located at a pond, in the midst of woods and meadows where wild roos attended every evening and even more domesticated animals like lamas and cattle on the adjoining farm.

Halls Gap is a lovely little town that's nestled in amongst the Grampians National Park. We ate at two difference eateries for dinner while we were there for the weekend. Those being the Kookaburra Hotel and Flame Brothers Cafe. Both were excellent and very popular so I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a seat. While you're in Halls Gap one must do activity is to go to Boroka Lookout. The views from there are breathtaking and it only takes approximately 20 mins to get there by car with a very short and easy stroll from the carpark to the actual lookout. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Appreciated the historical buildings, lovely gardens and friendly residents. Loved the Gum San Chinese Heritage Museum - interesting historical information and well-laid out collections that gave us valuable insight into the origins of Ararat. We deliberately stayed in Ararat to visit Gum San. The staff on duty, Mary and Duan, were knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed our stay at Acacia Caravan Park - loved the joyful Christmas display in the front office garden. Cabin was clean, comfortable and had a well-appointed kitchen-just right for 5 people.

Brilliant sample of country Victoria/Australia; genuine warm country welcome amid towering gums, native bushlands, great birdlife and cute animals. The easy walk through bushland to town delivers great food, sensational wine list and great morning coffee. ...and I'm a professional tour guide showing tourists around, so I'm a well-informed "purchaser"

If you love nature and want to be away from the noise of city life, this is the place to go. Isolated enough to be away from all the destractions of life and the constant ringing of annoying mobiles. Staff went out of their way to assist and make my experience memorable. The atmosphere in the holiday park is all like minded people wanting a relaxing time away in a friendly environment

Liked the Wannon Waterfalls within 20 minutes of the town.

Liked the Wannon Waterfalls within 20 minutes of the town. Unfortunately, the other one was closed for repairs and signage was not used to inform travellers. So many people, including me would have driven many kms out of their way from either end of the access road to the falls. Why didn’t the authorities who had approved the repairs to Nigretta Falls consider the impact and waste of fuel for many tourists over the many months this site has been closed? There are some great bluestone old churches and Victorian style houses with great iron lace work in the township. The Information Centre is stylish and well presented with helpful staff.
