This park is so fantastic for kids and families especially. It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. There's just so much there. A perfect way to unwind.

We had a great stay. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, all the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved being able to access the beach so easily as well as the amazing pool which was sheltered when the beach was a bit windy. The Thai restaurant near reception was amazing. The kids had a blast, will definitely come back.

As a cleaner myself, when staying away from home I tend to pick up when accommodation isn't cleaned properly but I have to say our cabin was spotless, not a thing I could see. Great work to the cleaner. Also the other guests were quite & my 3yr old loved the park & putt putt.

Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre.
Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre. The shoreline is amazing and the sunrises are glorious. Everything is in easy reach and easily reachable within walking distance. I find the 3pm close down a small issue. Its a great place to fish and swim and very close to Sydney and Eden.
The Ocean Grill Fish and Chip shop on the waterfront was great the fish fresh and beautifully cooked, the chips very moreish.
Lots of inexpensive and more expensive places to eat.
You definitely have to leave time for Mogo Zoo.

This is extremely basic accommodation for the price, the blankets need laundering and the tiny sink( no toilet or bathroom, not mentioned in ad)
Very tiny space, no one here at premises on Sunday afternoon and strange Man kept knocking my door asking for toilet roll, scary, glad there was a chain on the door.
Pity, this is 3 rd generation owned premises, it needs a severe update, especially bed linen, towels ect

3 beaches, great local shops and many clubs/eatery options all within the heart of Malua bay. Easy to venture down the road to Mogo, Surfbeach or Batemans Bay to shop, dine or enjoy walking trails. Great place for peak and/or off peak seasonal stays.

Great little town, not too crowded, with just the right amount of facilities. Eg beaches close by, IGA, takeaway shop, small golf course, Petrol station, seafood shop, and the best of all the Tomakin sports club. Great club with great food and good area for kids to play.

Mouldy bathroom, unable to lock my cabin door from the inside. Unable to close the main bedroom door, ,,,, absolutely disgusting maintenance.
I loved this place.
First time visiting the cabins
and have photos of the bad maintenance and embarrassed to have brought my family.

Although on a busy road, there wasn't much noise at night. A very relaxing stay and if the weather had been warmer a safe place to swim across the road.
Unit was comfortable with plenty of chairs. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean was delightful.
A visit to the visitors centre is worthwhile to see local attractions. There were no local cafes to walk to but a short drive away.

Ideal central location to a number of super Beaches - if you wanted to be closer to Batemans Bay you need transport here. The location of this property is sensational, and whilst the property is getting older it could do with some "TLC" and it would be AAA1!
Food facility "Three66" walking distant and Malua Bay 2 minutes drive with great Chinese and Fish/Pizza etc

Well obviously Bateman's Bay's proximity to Canberra is a plus. It's an easy town to be around and has a surprising range of shops for a small place. It's still a traditional Australian beach town where so many have become too commercialised and overrun by high rise flats.
