The bed was very comfy, the pool and spa facilities are clean and nice. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Something which stood out from other hotels we've stayed at so far was the option to opt out of the daily room fresh-up in exchange for a $10 voucher to use for food or drink which we used for dinner one night and breakfast a few days later (this does have a max of 3 overall for the stay)

Adelaide is a pretty city that has been planned for the citizens. Everyone is happy there. You can get help from anyone. People are polite, walking around is lovely. The beaches are not over crowded and the city centre is well organised. The only downside to Adelaide is the food. If you are a foodie, go to Melbourne. If you are an outdoors person, this is the place to be. Lovely city, but food is plain.

Really liked the Mclaren Vale apartment - had bath with bubble valves There was an excellent outdoor area for breakfast. Mclaren vale has great Sunday afternoon live music at Click - on the grounds of the Tintara winery and attached to hotel. Easy walking distance from accommodation. Had a great visit to Shadow Creek winery. Rrcommend their Vermintino and Fiano whites and Barn shiraz red wines. Oscars great restsurant and very good food.

We went to stay in Glenelg as this was apparently the best beach in Adelaide and the beach was soft sand and amazing but Glenelg itself is a bit strange almost like a ghost town, unfortunately for us they had all the high street closed off as they were doing lots of upgrades to the roads and pavements so lots of dust and workmen. The town of Glenelg itself was very quiet because of this but again we walked around the town and the beach and there is not much atmosphere about the place just so quiet I suspect when the kids get old enough they leave to go to more vibrant and exciting towns like Brisbane and Melbourne.

The location was great and the Villla was spacious and so clean. It was also in excellent condition like brand new. The Villas do back on to the main road which is a little noisy at night for those who want complete quiet. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. Would stay there again.

Port Noarlunga was a surprisingly good spot for a short (or longer holiday). There were plenty of dining options in easy walking distance and the beach was great. Water quality was excellent during our stay in February, with amazing clarity that enabled us to see plenty of marine life from the Jetty. Diving of snorkelling on the reef would have been a good experience - just remember to take a wetsuit as the water is pretty cool. There are major shopping facilities less than 5 minutes drive from the beachfront if that is your thing. The location also provides easy access to the wine region of McLarenvale (just 15 minutes easy drive). The coastline to the south is really quite spectacular and well worth a drive, with lots of sandy beaches and secluded bays.

I have family there so have visited a great number of times but never had to stay at a hotel before and it was not a pleasant experience. Lots of things to see and do. The art gallery was good because it was 39 degrees outside and the Cube was interesting and got us out of the city.
