This was our second time at Baranekhof and it was just as fantastic as the first. A lovely, family-run place with a warm, traditional atmosphere. Everything is very clean, the staff are super friendly, and the location is perfect; peaceful yet close to many activities. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety. Highly recommended!

This hotel was simply excellent. We had the family suite and the room was fantastic as well as view to the mountains from the balcony. They did have a small dinner menu however we didn't try it. The breakfast was a little small in terms variation/selection but it had everything most people would need and they even made individual coffee to every guest. It was easy to find a parking spot as it was just outside the hotel next to the entrance. During our two week trip to Italy this was by far the best hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to visit again.

The location is absolutely beautiful and only a one-minute walk from the ski lift, which is perfect. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the rooms are spotless and well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. We booked half board, and it exceeded all our expectations. The food selection and quality were absolutely outstanding. My wife has both gluten and lactose intolerance, and she had plenty of options to choose from without having to skip any meals. The restaurant manager was extremely attentive and made sure that the meals were suitable for our dietary needs. The waitstaff were also incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. We were very satisfied with all the services we received and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone. We would gladly return in the future.

I was here to watch the Europa Cup women's slalom races in mid-January. I was welcomed warmly and treated so very nicely. I was traveling alone (meeting up with friends at the races), so I appreciated the warmth and professional treatment by all staff. Especially kind were the front desk attendant and the dining room attendants named Dragana and Nikolina. The exercise room and saunas were spot clean and fresh, with ample towels, showers and changing rooms. The attendant explained all the areas to me. My room had a most splendid view of the lake with the mountain backdrop. It was a short walk to the bottom of the racing location. Breakfast and coffee (cappuccino/espresso) was very good, many choices. `

I had an amazing experience at Neue Post. I would say this hotel really made my stay in Zell am See extra special with their hospitality. The staff is kind and courteous. The breakfast is nice. Rooms extremely spacious compared to my expectations and with a great view too. Wellness center, pool, massage are excellent. I'm definitely looking to stay here again in my next trip to this lovely little town. Perfect hotel and location.

Hotel looks like very new, apartments modern and nice, clean. Perfect servis and great breakfast. You need to count with 15 mins walk to hill in case you will not use car to visit downtown. If u like som old history and buildings zell am see is the place for u. Even if u dont enjoy the old part of town, there is new exiting places to go to. The pepole in zell am see is wonderfull and kind.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

Great for family vacation.

Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

Calm little village with perfect location as starting point for skiing in 3 ski resorts included in Saalbach SkiCircus. Nothing to do in the evening, so it's not for the night life, but I did saw one night club with young people going out late, and the is Zell am See 8 minutes by car! There is also SPAR market in the center.

Beautiful lake with a nice 11 km path around it, we had very good early December weather, this might not be the experience of everybody. The city of Zell am See is very small, only two proper grocery stores, two tiny Christmas markets. With the addition of busses (free of charge with the mandatory tourist pass) one can get around the city and neighboring area easily provided you take the trouble of scheduling. There were lots of restaurants with fairly priced offerings, although we did not dine in the city. We did not take this opportunity to go skiing in the mountains, in hindsight this was a mistake.

Stayed at ever grün KAPRUN and the experience was absolutely amazing! Everything was excellent — the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were served as a well-organized buffet. The place was clean with breathtaking views. Definitely a top-rated stay, highly recommended to everyone!

A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main...

A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of...

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had...

Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had booked a room with a balcony and view. Room and facilities were very clean. A bit impersonal as there was no staff in the evening but overall great stay.
