The Blaue Rose is a high-quality, moderately priced hotel in the heart of the Alps. It is also brand new and run by a gentleman I have never met who showed me more care as a guest than I have received at 99 percent of the hotels I have booked in Europe over the past 45 years. The room perfectly fit my needs. The bed was comfortable, the bedding crisp, the shower, brand new, the silence outside was welcome (zero traffic noise), Feldkirch train station is within walking walking distance, and the path led through an idyllic Austrian mountain town, The design of the room was superior to the trendy and expensive boutique hotels I've stayed in in Manhattan, Berlin, and other cities. One judges the caring attitude of a hotel and its ownership and staff when things go wrong. I was very tired when I arrived and initially had a difficult time with the outsourced self-check in system and reported the issue. The hotel owner was so concerned with my problem that he thanked me for my comments, apologized profusely, and immediately upgraded the entire system to prevent future guests, including myself, from having to deal with similar issues. I visited Blaue Rose as an overnight before attending a meeting in Davos. I was happy to have had a place of serenity and a good night's sleep before dealing with the World Forum crowd. I will make a habit of visiting the Blaue Rose as a stop over between Vienna and Zug, Zurich, and other towns and cities of Switzerland.

This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

Great wellness hotel with outstanding service. We were here to celebrate my Birthday and receive a great treat from the Check-in moment and all the staffs seems to acknowledge about this so everyone said HBD. This is very impressive to me. This family owned Hotel is very well decorated and managed. The room is very spacious with comfortable bed and great balcony with beautiful view from the Bodensee. Spa area is very nice, well decorated , and the treatment was also very good. The dinner is very delicious with various dishes to choose from plus the great wine recommendations from one of the Lady Boss (I forget her name). I would definitely come back to stay here and would recommend this!!

The staff was friendly and very professional. The apartment was quite comfortable. The ski school and the ski service/rental inside the building were quite effective. Highly recommended for families with children for the playground area and the swimming pool. Entertainment activities were offered as well: a magician entertainer and a disco event for instance.

We arrived too late for the normal check-in. I contacted the hotel via Booking the moment I saw we were running late, they answered quickly and arranged everything for us. It was just a short stopover for us. We left immediately after breakfast, which was a nice buffet and extra options to order from the kitchen. The view from our room was magical ❄️✨️

Very nice staff, very good food (we had the demi-pension), location is good for trips and when snow for ski. All is clean, restaurant is modern, afternoon cake very good. Room very spacious and with a view. nice bathroom with toiletries. Opening times very friendly. They have kids program, even though for our stay we did not attend.

The locatoin is absolutely perfect! There’s a bus stop less than a 2 minute walk away. The views from the room were beautiful. The sauna and steam rooms were a huge bonus! The food was really good and the staff was super helpful. Will definitely be staying there again.

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside...

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside Lake Constance. There are nice restaurants & cafes, shops, walks, boats etc and we enjoyed the cable car ride to see the small farm, great for children and the views of the mountains are spectacular. The area is excellent for cyclists & runners, and for people with mobility issues. There are ferries which go to the small German island of Lindau, which is worth a visit and it takes 20-30 minutes. Quite a few of the cafes shops and restaurants are closed on a Sunday.

Close to Bregenz and Bodensee (Lake Constance), perfect location to explore the region without moving your car. Our hotel provided Voralberg card during our stay, so buses/trains are free. Wide selection of nice restaurants are in the centre.

Useful stepping off point for experiencing the Montafon area on foot; or, as a base for exploring Montafon by bus or car. Trains to Tschagguns / Schruns are easy. I went London - Paris (Eurostar) - Zurich (TGV Lyria) - Bludenz - Tschagguns in one day. In Tschagguns I like the the Gasthof Lowen (Austrian food) and Dimis the greek restaurant. The pizza place is fine too but the others are I think the best!

One of the best ski areas in Europe. Extensive high quality lift system, lots of variation in terrain and piste altitude, difficultly and length. The lift system and pistes are at one with their mountain setting.

Beautifully enclosed alpine valley, with just enough amenities such as shopping facilities without being too much. Wonderful restaurants serving a variety of dishes for all tastes. Also, there are several gondolas- ski lifts in the Montafon valley, some of which are also open during seasonal low periods. There are as well abundant hiking trails and many points of interest.

Cute clean little town flanked by mountains. Pedestrian-only quarters very charming with chic boutiques and smack bakeries/cafes. We did not have enough time to trudle explore the town as our hotel was located in nearby Stallehr. Tip: Fine dining, Golf and RVing in nearby Braz, at Hotel Traube.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023. We rented apartment No. 2 on the ground floor. Both bedrooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and had en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and directly connected to the living room with a large window from which I could watch the children playing in the snow. The house has an underground garage, so I eliminated the morning cleaning of the windshield. There is a sauna available for guests. From the house, I could easily walk to the information office, the ATM, or Spar for shopping. If one doesn't feel like cooking in the evening, one can try the restaurants within walking distance, offering local and international cuisine. I drove to the nearest lift (Steffisalp) within 5 minutes, where I rented skis for the kids and enrolled them in a local ski course. Beginners and experienced skiers alike can choose between the slopes. A further 10 minute drive (or local Skibus) takes you to cross-country (Salober), classic and skate skiing or you can take the cable car from here to the next ski resort, Lech. Warth 76 is the choice for anyone who likes to stay nice and comfortable on holiday, while having all the luxuries of an alpine resort within easy reach. They also have snow :o)

Bregenz is a lovely little town, and they have always going...

Bregenz is a lovely little town, and they have always going on in the harbour area. Contrary to the hotel, the town and especially the people there are LOVELY. Just go there, you will not be let down

Nice choice of hotel and another quality restaurant as well as a bakery and a butcherie with sandwiches and wine and groceries. Nice place to walk and close bus ride to Feldkirch from Nofels kitchen bus stop
