The host was very kind and helpful even though all the messages we exchanged were in German (which sometimes even for Google translate was tricky), however, all went super smoothly and everything was prepared perfectly. I would definitely come back again. :)

We had a fantastic weekend at Rinntaverne during the F1 race in Austria. The owners of the hotel are wonderful and benevolent people ❤️
We were traveling with the family and our dog along, planning to leave her at the hotel during the day since pets are not allowed at the race. Upon arrival, the owner informed us that pets are not permitted in the hotel – a detail we had unfortunately missed 🙈. We were in a tight spot, unable to find a dog hotel within 50 km or another place to stay. However, the owner’s kindness saved the day. She graciously allowed our puppy to stay and even offered to take her outside while we were at the race ❤️ Our dog had an amazing time, walking to the sheep, wading in the stream, and napping on the owner’s knees while she enjoyed her coffee on the terrace.
Rinntaverne is a stunning place with clean, tidy, and cozy apartments. It's not just any hotel; it also includes a farm with sheep, pigs, chickens, vegetables, and spices. There is a shop next to the house where you can take what you need, leave money, and note down your purchases. It is possible to buy sausages, pasta, eggs, chicken, pumpkin oil, hawthorn syrup, jam, spices, wool, and more – truly a delightful experience 👌
Travel is not only about the places you discover but also the people you meet. Meeting the owners of Rinntaverne was one of the highlights of our travels this year. Highly recommended!

Impressive location in the picturesque valley along the Salza river between remote mountains; full of lush forests and the steep north walls of the Hochschwab.
Great for all travelers seeking a calm atmosphere with history and local charme.

It was convenient distance from the ski area Hochkar. It was very quite and nice. The room fir ski stuff was spacious and not overfilled. We had enough hot water for the whole family.

Admont is a beautiful tranquil town in Styria, Austria.
Admont is a beautiful tranquil town in Styria, Austria. It’s best known for its picturesque Benedictine Abbey and its opulent baroque library. The town is an excellent starting point for all nature and hiking lovers. In the vicinity of the town is a beautiful castle – Röthelstein with views on the town and abbey. Also the Gesäuse National Park is near the town.
