Our stay at Erlachmühle in early October was truly enchanting. The rooms provided a remarkable experience, being notably clean, well-organized, and welcoming, suggesting recent renovation. This property, with deep roots in tradition, has remained in the same family for at least three generations. Additionally, the adjacent building owned by the same family houses one of the few remaining operational mills in the region, with records dating back to 1416. The emphasis on regional production and the organic quality of the food offered at the hotel is noteworthy, ensuring an exceptionally tasty gastronomic experience. The breakfast deserves special mention, featuring a variety of traditional breads, smoked fish, regional charcuterie, and cheeses that celebrate the local culinary richness. The attention and joy displayed by the owning family and the entire staff made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a true pleasure to meet them. Furthermore, it's important to highlight that the hotel offers on-site parking at no additional cost. The journey to the establishment is an experience in itself, with winding curves unfolding amid a stunning landscape. This natural beauty can be easily appreciated from the guest room windows and the open area near the breakfast room. The property's location is strategic, with nearby amenities such as a Billa supermarket just a 4-minute drive away, McDonald's a 3-minute drive away, and a gas station a 3-minute drive away. Additionally, the center of Mondsee is only a 6-minute drive away. Despite this convenient proximity, the hotel manages to provide a tranquil, private atmosphere and an exceptional connection with nature. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade for a special occasion, which we are very grateful for. The room we received was absolutely stunning—spacious, full of historical charm, and beautifully designed. We travel often and stay at many hotels, but this unique two-level room really had a wow effect on us. It was exceptionally spacious and had a style all its own. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and had a great experience at the restaurant. We genuinely liked everything. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely like to return to this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is on the edge of a lake, we got a pampering room with a view of the lake and amazing views. The breakfast is amazing. We also ate dinner at the hotel, which was prepared from local ingredients and was delicious and amazing. The staff is very helpful and gave the feeling of just giving :-). It definitely made us want to go back there and we will.

I stayed one night with my family and it was great. The room was spacious, the beds were comfy and it was very clean. The breakfast was good with friendly staff. The best part was the outdoors, with lots of toys and a playground; our kind enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this accommodation for families.

We stayed for 2 nights. The location is really good, 3 minutes to the lake and 2 minutes from the bus station. There is a very beautiful and safe path for walking and cycling around the lake. The service, food and the crew are also great! 😃👍🏻

The view driving into the small lakeside town js stunning! The lake view from the balcony room is amazing! Words just cant describe the view! The bed is comfortable, the room and toilet are modern. Everything is great!

Very kind and friendly family that makes you feel welcome at their home and gives you all the space to enjoy whilst making sure you have everything you need. It was a very happy experience for us.

It’s freshly renovated and absolutely love the style of it. Traditional and modern, great location and very well looked after. The staff was also exceptional!

Very nice family apartment with balcony. Above 4 standard beds there’s a cute small bed in a corner. Hotel’s restaurant is nice with tasty meals.
