The room was well designed, very big, with big bath and a private sauna. All the rooms has a view and this is a genius architecture design. We had a pool bag with towels, there’s also eco friendly Shampoo and body lotion. There’s a small terrace to drink coffee/ to eat. The breakfast was very good and with big variety of food. You can also order omelettes/boiled eggs/ scrambled eggs/pancakes/porridge from the kitchen. The stuff we’re very friendly. The swimming pool has amazing view (indoor and outdoor) and there’s also sauna area with wet and dry Finnish sauna.

This is a stunning place, the best view imaginable from the room. We were also lucky with the weather and the view stretched for miles. The staff member who checked us in on September 13th said we had the best view from our room, and it was absolutely right. Kudos to the hotel for that. We were traveling with a four-month-old baby and really loved it. As he gets older, we'd love to explore the surrounding trails. We had a two-room suite, it was huge and clean, and the dinner was excellent.

First class service, beautiful food, fantastic location and all of the staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The Wellness Centre and pool were the perfect way to relax after a few hours on the slopes. This is the perfect location for winter or summer. 10/10.

We loved everything about this hotel! It is modern, but with a nice touch of rustic details typical of the area. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious, functional and comfortable (bed was really comfortable). Our room was overlooking the ski slopes, which was a nice bonus. The hotel has a spa area (a small pool with two types of saunas and a jacuzzi) which is not very big, but totally enough. We loved the food which was of great variety (both breakfast and dinner), and really beautifully prepared. The entire staff was great - at the restaurant, the cleaning ladies, people at the reception - everyone was so friendly and nice, the atmosphere at the restaurant is truly perfect:. Probably the most important thing about this hotel is it's location at the very start of 3 major ski lifts - you practically exit the hotel and hop on the ski lift. At the same time, you can ski down the 2 slopes directly to the hotel. If you are coming to Zell am See to ski or hike, this is the best hotel option by far.

Hello. The staff at the reception are great, smiling, helpful and always gave us advice and help. Especially Mr. David, who even spoke Czech, helped us with everything, from information on how and where to travel to various requirements. What we liked most about the hotel was the wellness and outdoor heated pool. The food was excellent, we just have a small complaint about the French onion, we didn't like it, but that's our opinion. The choice of three main dishes, the cold buffet and the desserts were great. I was most interested in the fish with cabbage in white wine, it was excellent. The cleaning lady came to clean every day. And the location of the hotel is in the middle of the town, a short distance from the lake, shops and restaurants. The downside was that you park in public garages for 16 euros a day, but it's a short walk from the hotel.

Hotel looks like very new, apartments modern and nice, clean. Perfect servis and great breakfast. You need to count with 15 mins walk to hill in case you will not use car to visit downtown. Swimming pool great. Price include ZELL AM SEE-KAPRUN SUMMER CARD, which save a lot of money to visit numerous costly atraction around.

If u like som old history and buildings zell am see is the place for u. Even if u dont enjoy the old part of town, there is new exiting places to go to. The pepole in zell am see is wonderfull and kind.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

Great for family vacation.

Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

Wram , welcoming and relaxed. Atmosphere of adventure and history. Other residents very friendly. Breakfast exceptional- and we have travelled a lot around Europe- one of the best. Fresh and tasty evening meal with something for all tastes ¹on the menu. Perfect location for the pass .

Beautiful lake with a nice 11 km path around it, we had very good early December weather, this might not be the experience of everybody. The city of Zell am See is very small, only two proper grocery stores, two tiny Christmas markets. With the addition of busses (free of charge with the mandatory tourist pass) one can get around the city and neighboring area easily provided you take the trouble of scheduling. There were lots of restaurants with fairly priced offerings, although we did not dine in the city. We did not take this opportunity to go skiing in the mountains, in hindsight this was a mistake.

Everything was excellent — the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were served as a well-organized buffet. The place was clean with breathtaking views. Definitely a top-rated stay, highly recommended to everyone!

A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main...

A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of...

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

We were on a driving holiday visiting the high alpine passes. The Grossglockner road tool booth is five minutes away and opens at 5:30am; we left the hotel at 5:25am and were there as it opened. The hotel was welcoming, clean and as advertised. We ate at the hotel, having been up to the Edelweißspitze (the toll is reduced after 6pm, so we arrived and went up before dinner). Some rooms overlook the main road, so you might want to request a room on the other side of the hotel if the noise of the occasional vehicle bothers you.
