The stay was amazing and can only recommend to everyone who like the combination of wellness and hiking. Amazing breakfast, food at the Tiroler Abend on Friday evening was outstanding. Staff and hospitality was unbelievable supportive and friendly and the wellness area super relaxed. The bed was really very comfortable and the room sizes quite big for the price. We really enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

The hotel was unexpectedly great - the staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms are beautiful, the whole atmosphere is lovely. We had a room with balcony and what impressed me is the bathroom was huge and the retro bathtub was a very pleasant touch. The staff was very helpful at every step, the breakfast was lovely, and in general the place is a really impressive experience.

This is a pleasant design hotel, in a beautiful part of Kitzbühel town, with high quality furniture and amenities. A good sporty-elegant clientele can be seen in the public areas. The view from the lobby outside, towards the lush green park and the mountains, is also pleasant. Gym and spa are excellent. The most outstanding quality of the hotel is the service, in particular the front door team and valet. The concierge Mr Raji is a true gem of a person. He is among the Top 3 concierges we experienced around the world, easily beating Four Seasons staff, and maybe he is the Nr. 1. Mr Raji made every extra wish possible, like arranging for a birthday surprise. Thank you for a great stay.

It is a great experience that there're lovely vivid bars on the way back to your hotel that you can have your apreSki fun and leave the party and be in your room in max 5 minutes! p.s. Spa is also superb! Snowing outside and you're in the sauna and with few steps ahead, you're outside half naked under the Austrian Alps snow and drinking your warm mint tea...

We spent a wonderful New Year's week at this hotel. The staff is very attentive and polite. We arrived late and upon request they kindly brought dinner to our room. The room was large and warm. The spa area is small but very clean. Breakfasts were varied. The dinners were very tasty and beautifully presented. The waterfall and the park around it are beautiful. Zillertal Arena is a wonderful ski area.

We stopped over for one night on our trip from the Dolomites to Salzburg. I first visited Kitzbuhel in 1970 when I was on a high school trip. I wanted my husband to see what a charming Tyrolean town it is. We really enjoyed ourselves and the hotel was wonderful!

Just really friendly and efficient staff. Nothing was pushy or awkward. Nice beers. Not too far to the grossglockner pass. Enjoyed the trip up the ski lift even though it was late spring. Kirchberg looked iconically tyrol.

MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of...

MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains. Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas. Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. Beautifully built homes with lots of wood, decks for views, and easy access to roads, grocery stores, and everything needed for a great vacation!

Westerndorf itself is very nice and quiet, not the most lively place I've been to, so wouldn't recommend it if you are young people looking for parties... My main issue was that the entire ski area is not great. It's considered the second largest in Austria, but it's pretty low, and global warming means that the snow there is terrible (even in February). Most of the pistes were too short for my liking and not great. We ended up running away to Kitzbuhel the next day, and it was much better

Neukirchen is a nice little town with a ski lift in the center (Bergbahnen Wildkogel). It has Billa and Spar which are both open on Sundays (14:00-18:00). You can easily access Königsleiten or Hochkrimml, Zillertal Ski Arena (30 minutes by car).

Hopfgarten im Brixental is a great option for friendly good skiing at a great price along with authentic Austrian cooking. Hopfgarten has three large supermarkets and at least a dozen decent restaurants so there is plenty to keep your family busy and fed when they aren't skiing or hiking. European ski values are phenomenal compared to the USA (tickets are $55 - 75 for half day/full day) and Austrian slope difficulty ratings are a little understated compared to America, so Although Hopfgarten and its several connected mountains appear to be mostly "intermediate" in difficulty they can range from intermediate to high intermediate, which is good. plenty of lifts at connected mountains to explore for extra runs and varied apres ski adventure and you are only 30 minutes from the larger towns of Worgl and Kitzbuhel by train or car.

Great resort for families and for beginners.

Great resort for families and for beginners. Ski school is brilliant for anyone who wants to start learnig to ski. I recommend the lockers in Margreiter to save you from carrying all that ski gear up and down the ountain.

Very nice locality in Alps and near by the Hohe Tauern...

Very nice locality in Alps and near by the Hohe Tauern National Park. Beautiful nature, nice people. Good location for tourist trips, cycling, walking, extreme sports and skiing in winter. In Habach valley is legendary emerald way (Smaragdweg) to mountain chalets and pensions. This is a good trip also for the families with kids, but a "little bit" long - about 8 km one-way. Possible is to reserve at least one day before Smaragd Express (bus or minibus). The price was in the end of May 2023 for one-way ride 9 Eur/person, 16 Eur/person return ticket.

The waterfalls were awesome.

The waterfalls were awesome. Even better than photos suggest. Was quite busy on the perfect Summer’s day we were there, so parking was at a premium- I’d aim to arrive early if your situation is the same. Definitely worth a visit, and a quite full afternoon to climb the steep but well manicured path to the top. Take plenty of drinking water for the climb.

There is a lovely sport park in Hollersback, it has a nature...

There is a lovely sport park in Hollersback, it has a nature pool as well as other racquet sports available to play. There is a lovely bakery, but no supermarket. We ate at a lovely restaurant called Herz Drei which was recommended by our hostess. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and lovely service. The gondola station is very close, and is well worth a visit to the top for some lunch. We were there in summer, it was lovely.
