The location. The lower building overlooking the pool has view of the lake. Unobtrusive traffic noise from the road below. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. Dinner on half board was inclusive of drinks, including wine and beer. Buffet courses to start with a choice of main course served to the table. Room was large and beds comfortable. Access to the lake about 15mins walk down to the boat station. Bit of a hill coming back.

We loved staying at Almhof. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do (hiking, many lakes, SUP, plenty of restaurants) and best of all the hosts know the area so well and could give us amazing recommendations. We would definitely come again!

The host and apartment were both wonderful. It was very clean, modern and cozy. The kitchenette was equipped to cook in (all the pans, kitchenware,toster,coffemaker) and the host provided coffee, tea, milk, juice, beer. We also had a welcome gift - two granola bars, two apples and their homemade salad dressing. Bathroom is spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, we were going skiing in Gerlitzen and it was 15 min car ride from the Gerlitzen Cable Car. The host was helpful and provided the details about local restaurants, bakery and grocery stores and also other activities in the region.

Nice spacious property in a quiet area near the lake. Ours was a large room with balcony and modern bathroom. Loads of wardrobe & shelves for our things plus a table & two chairs. Very nice lady ran the property, was attentive, helpful & friendly. Free tea & coffee which is a very nice touch. Large breakfast room serving an ample & varied breakfast which was very tasty indeed. We arrived by motorcycle and there is safe parking under cover in the driveway. Easily walkable to local restaurants & the lake.

We stayed in the apartment for 8 days. Fully equipped apartment, very suitable for hosting a family, clean, tidy, very quiet location, convenient and close to attractions, lovely view. The hosts thought of all the little details to make the apartment comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, communicated well and were available for any questions.
