Very clean, comfortable and felt like home! It was like a little apartment, so we could find absolutely everything we needed. The location is quite and lovely, it’s just 10 mins away from the lake. 6-7 mins away from a grocery shop, and 2 mins from a bakery. The stuff is responsible, respectful and friendly! 10/10 experience :)

An absolutely excellent authentisches Bayerisches Hotel. Sparkless clean rooms and premises, spa, gym, swiming pool, and Kamineroom which I like it as an Office. Excellent restaurant with professional and polite staff,, maybe bit $$$ but worth trying.Professional and guest oriented reception staff, easy parking, and overall a great stay in and external sea house opposite the hotel right on the beach, with a beautiful winter lake sight. Very quite place for a long walks, cycling, sports or just relaxing.

Great wellness hotel with outstanding service. We were here to celebrate my Birthday and receive a great treat from the Check-in moment and all the staffs seems to acknowledge about this so everyone said HBD. This is very impressive to me. This family owned Hotel is very well decorated and managed. The room is very spacious with comfortable bed and great balcony with beautiful view from the Bodensee. Spa area is very nice, well decorated , and the treatment was also very good. The dinner is very delicious with various dishes to choose from plus the great wine recommendations from one of the Lady Boss (I forget her name). I would definitely come back to stay here and would recommend this!!

The staff was very friendly (especially the lady at the check-in). We had a beautiful spacious room with a balcony that provided panoramic views of the lake. The first minibar is included, which is very nice. The bathroom was fantastic as well, very large with a beautiful sink, and a huge plus was the amazing view of the lake from the bathtub. The hotel was very clean, and the pool was also great (an added bonus: they provided swim towels in the room, very convenient). There was nothing to complain about the breakfast; you could enjoy it while overlooking the lake, and there was plenty of variety in terms of food. We had also requested a baby crib, and they had prepared it for us along with baby products. A little lower than the hotel, you can take the bus to Überlingen. There's a good connection with two buses per hour.

Breakfast was delicious and so very beautifully presented. Lots of choice and delicacies to sample. Coffee was excellent too. We had a room with a garden view on first floor which was quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful. We spoke only basic German but most were fluent in English. We were delighted to be offered a drink and snack on our arrival, lovely touch. Facilities were excellent, clean and well maintained. Excellent convenient location away from the harbor noise and ferry terminal, but only a 5-7 minute walk to old town. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy a dinner/meal at the hotel restaurant, next time!

The hotel has the best location you could wish for Lindau, with the beautiful view to the harbor, lake and mountains. Being vegetarian, breakfast sometimes can be an issue. Here it was better than expected, you can make your fresh juice from apple, carrot, celery, ginger and there were even vegan spreads for the bread. Got a great recommendations for lunch with wide vegetarian options. The Spa lounge area has a stunning and relaxing view to the lake, same as the sauna on the rooftop. If you are foreigner be aware in Germany and also in this hotel the rooftop area (sauna & mini pool) is textile free.

The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.

I travel alone for work, and these are my first trips after being hospitalized with pleuritis and pneumonia. Because of this, I need extra comfort, such as resting and eating in between. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding. It is always nice to stay somewhere where personal contact and customer friendliness are central. Konstanz is a brilliant place to stay for a few nights on an...

Konstanz is a brilliant place to stay for a few nights on an interrailing trip. You can visit Lichtenstein within 1.5 hours on train, and same with Rheinfalls, Schaffhausen. Great for daytrips, and then returning in the evening, Konstanz comes alive with beautiful lights and the pier. It's very easy to get around at the main train station, and the old town is beautiful, and it's fun to be able to walk across the border to Switzerland. Would recommend for travellers/interrailing.

Since the city was completely bombed during WW2, it’s not filled with historical landmarks and old buildings. There are definitely nicer cities around Bodensee. If you’re choosing Bodensee as your final destination, FN shouldn’t be the town to go.

See earlier remark. WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. After giving us a reservation Booking.com then emailed us the same day on 29/9/25 to say that they could not confirm the booking - so we had to go elsewhere. BUT we were charged for a NO SHOW and have since been trying to get our money refunded.

Meersburg is one of our favorite towns.

Meersburg is one of our favorite towns. It has everything: Medival castle, a fantastic boardwalk on the lake, apple orchards, winyards with a winery, excellent restaurants & bars, boating marina, ferry to other parts of the lake, the list goes on. A very charming and picturesque town.

We visited friends here and enjoyed the views over the lake and wandering around the waterfront. The city is known for the obvious focus of boating, bathing, and relaxing, but we also found a nice, downtown with historical charm. Try the Muenster St, Nikolaus for relics and an up-close trip back in time, and then explore the old town around it.

Lovely town, & near to lots of other nice towns which can easily be reached free by bus or train using the Bodensee card obtained from the hotel. Bike rental is easy to do, swimming in the lake is possible, boat trips on the lake are very nice too

We spent two nights here.

We spent two nights here. The shops seemed to be more expensive than in Germany. Travel on trains also more expensive. We got Bodensee cards for travel in Germany. However it is a pretty area and felt very safe walking around at night.

The location was excellent, the view of the lake from the dining room and pool were fantastic, even on a rainy cloudy day. As children were only allowed to use the indoor pool at certain times , you can relax around the pool and read. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was incredible, something for everyone. An additional bonus was that it was open till 11,30 am. They also had quite a large selection of vegetarian dishes in the evening. Very comfortable box spring beds and a large walk-in shower.

I have visited Konstanz frequently some time ago, and it was a great pleasure to see it had not changed much after 15 years. Very friendly quaint town right across from the Swiss border, with great outdoors, parks, superb Lake Konstanz views and very friendly locals. I would call it a hidded Gem.

This is a key hub on Lake Constanz and the home of the Graf Zeppelin, thus the great museum. It is an excellent place to base a visit to other towns and sites on Lake Constance whether by ferry, train or bus (and we did all three). Best of all it is not overrun by tourists
